This is incredible. Alan's side is so much more fast-paced than Wesley's side! I am okay with my 23m 11s IGT record in this category, I'll stick to optimizing Wesley's side lol I've always wondered how much faster a two-player run would speed this up. One player stick to one side and the other on one side, communication of weapon ammunition like how much each player has, etc. I lost my AV cables for my PS2 but I ordered some so I can get back into this game. Watching this inspired me to get back into it. I'll come for this record when I truly feel like Wesley's side is optimized to it's fullest!
I've tried Wesley's side a few times but I'm so used to Alan's that it's a tough trade. I get areas confused or go for the wrong enemies, etc. I would love to do a GDQ with this game or TC2 in LAN. I used to be able to do it in my basement when I had a permanent LAN setup and it's a really cool home-arcade experience. If you are able to use component cables, the HDRetrovision cables are worth every penny. Absolutely beautiful picture! Have fun man, looking forward to seeing your progress!
