I watched the film a second time..A SWEET film turned into a BEAUTIFUL film. Only criticism - I wish the theme stated came a little earlier, before the titles, with the photograph…..otherwise - a loved the setup and each little comment, while common speak, had a meaning later…really loved it…
After seeing this movie I felt like the story got too focused on Brooke coming in between AJ and Moose. Brooke calling AJ constantly “ShitPig” was unnecessary. Why was he a guy that farts a lot. If you look up the word-A grotesque slob of a female. Her ugliness is only surpassed by her annoyingness. so it’s more on her than him. That didn’t help the story which should have been focused just on the guys plot. She was unnecessary character . Didn’t relate to the story. Threw the movie off. I have seen way better coming of age films and this one was like right out of Larry Clark movies. Wasn’t too impressed. Maybe it’s just me, but no guy puts nail polish on a girls nails. That scene was weird.
