In this video she was 9 and had never had any training in music. Amira is a soprano, the category of classical singer with the highest range. The main requirements of a classical singer (and Amira fulfills them all) are command of the voice (emit the correct note from the start), control of the voice (keep the note emitted without deviation, lead the note through a journey with vibrations and embellishments), agility (change from high to low notes and vice versa quickly), breath support (breathe very little and only when there is a real pause in the music, sustaining a note for several seconds), vowel formation (being able to emit dozens of variations of each vowel, harmonics in the musical phrase), posture (relaxation of the face, flexibility of the jaw, upright body), range (emitting notes from the third octave to the sixth octave effortlessly), rhythm (keeping the musical phrases flowing at the correct tempo and in harmony with the orchestra), great ear, focus, emotion, authenticity. Amira gets top marks in all these areas.
Amira was a 9 years old prodigy here, self taught (no vocal coaching) just pure God given talent and I believe a born musical genius! Amira is about to turn 20 and truly believes that her talent is a gift from God for her to bring joy to the world! There are many fabulous performances by Amira on you tube, ALL will amaze you no matter what age!

Amira is exceptional. The judges were concerned, because a week before this show, she had a chest infection and couldn't rehearse as planned. It doesn't show though. As well as talent, she practised a lot by herself, watching classical singers on you tube, because she loved this type of music. She was also a successful long distance runner in her age category, so her lung capacity is pretty good for holding those long notes. In 10 years she has delivered some amazing tunes. Let's hear some more. You haven't watched her singing with Andre Rieu. That'd be a good place to go next.

Child Amira is a legend . She has many masterpieces but now tha she will be 20 years old in march 27 her voice is still more stunning
You mentioned that she did this without her voice cracking? It might interest you to know that she did this while fighting a cold. She is divinely gifted. At her current age of 20 she is still singing and more beautifully than ever. She is also an absolutely incredible Christian young lady, in every sense.
