    I was in a car accident 2 days before 19.1.. experienced whiplash which sucked but! The doctor said not to do any strenuous workouts for at least a week.. so I'm pretty happy I didnt have to do this haha

    Wow super impressive!! Short transition times too. Love the set up. I did 19.1 twice and ended up getting another full round in the second attempt at rx 164 :)

    19.1 wasn't that bad honestly. Not a super hard strength exercise, but the cardio makes your heart beat out of your chest. Definitely a grinder workout

    I like how you do it but would be nice to make it a whole day vlog with the morning and how you strategize and you're thoughts afterwards

    • @Seva98a
      @Seva98a 5 років тому

      Simple, they are tall. Noah was still rowing at 1250-1450 cal / hr. Tall guys row at +1600 cal / hr.

    I just wanna know what resistance that rower was on, because I swear he does very few strokes before he’s back to WBs

    • @coerc4831
      @coerc4831 5 років тому

      Mike DC looks like a high 6

    • @maddcrz
      @maddcrz 5 років тому

      Matt Dee I’ll be honest I haven’t checked what the standards are, but is there a rule against going higher resistance which = less row? I might not be thinking about this right hahahah

    • @Zebuloes
      @Zebuloes 5 років тому

      Mike DC preronsal preference. The higher the damper setting, the “harder” it is to pull and you can blow up faster, usually a slower stroke rate. Lower setting is ideal for a higher stroke rate but less muscle fatigue

    • @Josh-gg1lf
      @Josh-gg1lf 5 років тому

      Depends on the drag factor as well ;) look it up and you know which resistance you should take :)

    • @Dlogreen
      @Dlogreen 5 років тому

      I pulled on a 6 second go round . Improved by 22 reps. 7+35 so just shy of 8. First time was rowing on 4 to 5.. Never got severely winded that first time but spent a lot of time on the rower. Noah is shorter than me but also much stronger. Bottom line, pull hard for shorter rounds on the rower

  • @Kreilo2412
    @Kreilo2412 5 років тому

    The fan in the ceiling is making the ball drop faster, so he can do the reps faster. 4 year ban coming up from CrossFit HQ. I called it first! ;-)

    Hey one tip for the rower! I know it takes a second but it is totally worth it to tighten the foot straps!! You will go faster!

      clint iacuone I mean it’s possible it could be faster without tightening but you lose your ability to raise the rate
