When the tractor is to expensive - buy a Truck and tune it for agriculture aplication - that's make sense !!! :)
The cheapest semi trucks cost like half as much as a expensive farming tractor . Of cause, after conversion the truck will still be more expensive.
I still see few benefit of the truck. Much higher transport speed. This really matters quite a lot. Most modern farmers have several farms that they manage. The one i know have a tractor at every farm and take the car between. This goes much faster. But it does have its drawback. (Granted, a lot of the tractors use in a specialty way, so they need several tractors anyway)
A other benefit is that you can carry more tools A normal tractor can typically carry 2 tools, a truck can carry 3.
A truck can easily carry 10 ton, if not more, on the actual truck. A farm tractor can carry only 2-3 tons.
If you use a semi set up, you get a part of the load on the driving wheel. allowing you to have a lighter truck, but still a heavier load.
The set up of a truck alows you to carry heavly loads in the rear with out front weight. This lower the total load when farming.

Nice truck. Only noticable problem is turning radius on the larger one. The shorter one looks like you could get used to it
yeah, but that is the reason why tatra use 8x6 and not typical 8x4 (two and two axles) because it has better turning

Сейчас выпускать на поле можно любой транспорт. Будь это автомобиль, грузовик, квадроцикл, мотоблок, и так далее, если конечно же снабдить такими же функциями, как и у трактора. Ведь техника не стоит на месте.
