The 4fwd weight of engine .calibrate my weigthsmasters 28500lbs to 13000 on regular big- trucks 18 wheels all highways especially cemented MEGA - JACKHAMMER
The 4880 came with the 903 Cummins V-8. I thought the same thing when I heard them though. I'm guessing it's the 4880 that we are hearing as the 5200 has either a Cummins 855 or the aforementioned 60 Series Detroit which is a 4 stroke diesel.
@@Parents_of_Twins i prefer the laid back bass wuffle of the Cummins to the buzz of a Detroit two stroke. It is like the Scania V8: could listen to one all day.
Whaoo! that is awesome, just for curiousness, why did every Massey doesn't pull each there own plough, it would make the tuning around easier or did I missed someting
+Jan Kotze It is a plowing demonstration at the Half Century of Progress Show. The 20 bottom plow was custom built for the show. The twin Masseys were part of the exhibit. Just one Massey could not move the plow in the ground. The 750 hp Rite 750 could pull the 20 bottom plow all on its own. See the Rite in action in our video @ ua-cam.com/video/vp4TJtIcEqY/v-deo.html
Hmm if this was a regular set up. It wouldn't be cost effective. Just get a Big Bud so you can have finely geared and power from one machine. That Steiger might had been LOL at the 2 Massey's.
and ripping out tons of trees and other natural elements so jugheads who cant drive without a computer doing it for them with a massive implement on the back doesn't?
If anything plowing lessens erosion by giving the impacted soil tilth, moisture will soak in rather than run off. also plowing mixes crop residue into the soil which feeds microbes and provides better nutrients for plants.
+Will Heller yes it is a Detroit in a John Deere 8020 plowing just ahead of the Massey 4wds. We have a video of the 8020 posted @ ua-cam.com/video/K6tIKYarZHg/v-deo.html
I'm guessing Detroit diesel by the sound. Love that sound!!!
thanks for the detroit video. i wish plowing was done more often
👍👍👍
They sure don't mess around

Let me guess by the sound of the engine, Detroit diesel?
+Jason Shipley McConnel used the 60 Series Detroit on the Massey 5200 and McConnell 1000.

@@mattbod Me too. Had a backhoe that had a 4-53N in it and I couldn't stand the sound it made once revved past 2k.

+Jan Kotze I would guess that this demonstration is just for show...they don't plow their own farms like this...
Hi, thanks for your comment, I think you are quite right. Thank You

It is defiantly a show tractor set up.
They aren't joking
Do farmers still plow? It promotes erosion.

TericNoah explain to me how it promotes erosion

mają rozmach :P
Sound like there's a Detroit in the background lol.
