My goodness!! I JUST ORDERED her!! I mean JUST! Waiting for my email to go pick her up! I’ve been eyeing her for a while! Price increased by $100 then it was out of stock! Restocked at original price. I have an Epson 2400 and I converted using hiippo ink which worked perfectly! I just needed a wide frame printer. I was going to try another ink but seriously HIIPPO is good so I’ll probably order another round for my 8550! So excited!! Thanks for sharing!!

Do you know if I can use DTF ink on sublimation paper and blanks? This way I can use on dark colors and 100% cotton too with the white ink that comes with the DTF. Or I just purchased the ET8550.

How did you fix those color lines on the black area in the image? Having the same issue & can’t fix….
I do sublimation, DTF but haven't gotten into Bling ... but i plan on it once i get over my fear of trying😂
Did you just put sublimation ink inside the original tank or did you have to switch anything for it to be sublimation?

I just bought Epson ET 8550 2 weeks ago I've watched so many videos until I was overwhelmed..But you came along and now I can breathe again..lol You made everything so simple..Girl you are the Best..I will be following you for sure..I am in business now and can't wait to make my first shirt..1 question all those videos I watched they say you have to take the wheels off/.pizza wheels I noticed you didn't not and your shirt was Beautiful..So what's your input on removing the wheels..Be Blessed
I feel like it’s optional. The only time I ever have an issue is if I’m doing some kind of hack. Other than that, I don’t get roller mark issues

What about dark fabrics
Someone did a video on reconverting a sublimation printer back to a regular printer. It’s on you tube. He doesn’t recommend flushing but recommends using all the ink and replacing with regular ink without flushing. He says as you refill with regular ink, the print comes out normal

Since you have made this tutorial about the Epson ET8550 sublimation printer, I am About to buy one for the same kind of job I would like to know if is it true that I should leave the printer "ON" forever because every time I turn it off and then back ON it does a cleaning cycle that wastes a lot of ink? I really appreciate your answer and thanks for your time.

Hi new to learning sublimation loved your video. I heard the temperature of the heat press but for how long do I press?
Different blanks require different times but for shirts, I normally do 60 seconds

I recently purchased and set up this printer and when pulling off tape, 2 dark yellow things came out of the paper drawers. I couldn't find anything about them anywhere but I see them in your video, what are they and where should they be installed?
You don’t need those pieces, they are just part of the packaging.
Do the 8550 printer print larger then the epson eco tank 2400 or 2803
The 8559 prints up to 13x19
Can you please tell me how long you pressed the shirt for and at what temperature please?
I believe she said 50 seconds at 400. May wanna double check tho that’s what I heard

Hi I'm just wondering if anyone's got any good recommendations for this specific printer. But when it comes down to sublimation inks, I found a bunch of Amazon products of sublimation ink specifically for the Epson ET 8550 Some of the Amazon reviews. Sometimes we'll say things like the bottle don't fit. Into the sockets. So it leaves like a whole mess and then also too They say that some inks don't really work well and bubble up. If anybody can send me the link to a reliable brand I'm trying to supplement on multiple different objects shirts. Metal plate posters, cups and mugs. Phone cases. And so I'm just trying to find a reliable, good brand. Considering that Amazon reviews are kind of just all over the place, I can't tell. Which is going to be a good choice?
Could you see if the printer would do a 13 inch x 23 inch print under custom size. If it does it I will buy this printer. I would greatly appreciate it. thx

They do its a sawgrass and its an actual sublimation printer for about 575.00 on swing design amazing colors as well and they also do payment plan for it
6 cartridges what goes in the other 2 I just bought as well but only received cmyk.... phb grey white or light blue light magenta what's supposed to go there any ideas

Has anyone compared these 8550 to see if it prints photo quality sublimation. Or is it about the same sublimation quality as any other Epson Eco Tank?
I just bought an Epson but will just split the screen to make prints bigger. I refuse to invest in something expensive that I won't be using all the time. I got the Epson 2800. Much lighter and less expensive. I love your shirt.

Please help, all I have to do is put in the ink now…. But I don’t want to I I may have ruined it. It’s the roller things that push the paper out I think….
What type ink do you use for the PB and the gray
Sublimation ink. Hiipoo sells it in those colors
I have the 8550, originally I wanted the f170 but learned that the 8550 was coming as a gift. What made you go from the 170 to the 8550?
I do still have both for different reasons. The f170 is smaller so when I have smaller projects I use that. The 8550 is wide format
@@AngelBDesigns but I thought the F170 was also a wide format printer? I’m only asking because I love it 8550 and the more I discovered of all that you can do especially printing from the back printing on poster board. I’m seriously thinking of re-converting it and getting the F170. Either that or I’m going to invest in another 8550 this printer is awesome.
No the f170 is not wide format. The f570 is.
