Last year a couple of high school kids got killed when they crashed in a 2020 trx at over 100mph sideways into a cinder block wall. The truck was completely unrecognizable. Half of the truck was completely annihilated and the passenger side completely crushed beyond recognition. The motor flew out yards away.
Let that be a lesson to all the idiots out there driving over the posted speed limit, tailgating, cutting in front of people, changing lanes without using turn signals, and countless other forms of reckless driving, illegal driving, and discourteous driving that results in numerous injuries and needless deaths every year. Not to mention the insane people who drive impaired by drugs and alcohol, and while sleepy, who needs to be criminally prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
a lot of head on immovable walls out in the real world on streets and highways. get over it. this is mainly aimed at your driving over the speed limit comment
I'm glad I watched this, next time I'm cruising at 200kph, I will make sure there are no brick walls lurking..😅 I know, next time Sim two trucks doing a head on.. Then a ram vs..a mustang...etc.
Does this software have the ability to show the difference (actually lack of) between 2 identical vehicles crashing head on, each at 100 mph and the same vehicle crashing into a concrete wall at 100 mph? Most people do not believe they are the same.
They aren't the same; the wall has no crumple zones. The closing speed is the same, the energy is the same (assuming both vehicles are the same), but the results will be different. How different depends on a few factors, including the vehicles involved.
They are not the same. An object going 60 into a stopped object involves just the momentum of the moving object. An object at 60 crashing into an object going the same direction but at 30 involves the speed difference as the momentum, essentially a 30mph accident. An object going 60 one direction and another going 60 towards the first one, opposite direction, involves the combined sun of the speeds as the momentum, essentially a 200mph accident. Watch any football game and the proof is in the pudding, or the players frame. When a QB is stationary and gets taken out, that’s bad, a 300lb linebacker tackling full force is bad. But two opposing players at the same rate, opposite directions and head on, are a significantly more consequential force of combined momentum. Twice as much, to be precise.
Well, I screwed that one up. In order to get a closing speed of 100 MPH, each vehicle would need to be doing 50mph. However, the OP asked about two vehicles each doing 100mph, which would be a closing speed of 200mph, which would double the energy of one vehicle hitting the wall at 100mph. (Actually, it would more than double it by a lot, because velocity increases energy non-linearly, but I hate math).
My grandma made a slow u turn in her 2004 Camry and a 2020 Dodge Ram hit her last year. Surprisingly, her car was totaled but wasnt crushed in, but the Ram's front in was completely destroyed. 😂😂😂😂 The Ram was only going 35 mph.
To be specifically clear a game can't justify how much impact the truck will take. I play this game as well and yeah its realistic but your can't depend on a game to prove how strong a truck is.
@@user-3tf67bk46u you think I'm that stupid lol, crashing a vehicle full of metal and plastic parts at 200kph isn't going to cuase what your talking about. Lol. Iv seen it happen before and you can't even recognize the vehicle brand anymore all you see is parts all over the road. And a bulldozer creating smoke on rocks is from intense friction, not speed.
I didn’t read the title and have my brightness all the way down on my iPhone, can still see everything I watch fine unless they’re darker videos/pics with a lot of fine details I want to see, but since I didn’t read the full title I thought this was fkn real until after the 62mph crash. Lol
So at 200 kph how is this compared to two cars driving towards each other at 100 kph? I mean 100kph isn't very fast but I'm thinking combined forces would be equivalent to this video of 200 kph into a wall.
That was a waste of a minute fifteen. Not gonna waste the other forty seconds. I drove a wrecker for years, there is nothing about this that is realistic.
Leave a LIKE and SUB if you enjoyed this video! ❤
Moral of the story, don't pick a fight with a concrete wall.
😂🤝
That seems reasonable!
For if you do, the Ram still wins 😂
At 124 mph went from a CREW cab to SINGLE😂
Gives a whole new meaning to
"RAM"

If you can’t dodge it…
This is why I drive from the back seat.
@@bender49ers HOW TF DO YOU STEER AND USE THE BRAKE AND ACCELERATOR

At those speeds hitting a wall square would=no survivors!
I'm impressed with that concrete. Barely got a scratch on it. 🤩
lol
I’m more impressed with the tires holding up.
Yea some rubber tires bend in crashes 🥴

You know nothing about this game. Obviously. It's the closes to the real thing as it gets.

Not if there is anything in the bed of the truck 🤷♂️
Is this what they do when you ask for a shorter wheelbase?
Damn, that wall doesn't budge.
As a honest car guy this make me feel bad for the car but a the same time it satisfied me 😅. Btw I am now subscribed! Love these kinds of videos!
Thank you!

I thought this was the Streetspeed channel for a second.
