Having a mechanical engineer background, I've been concerned by the single slide bloc per rail of the "full size" PrintNC carriages ever since I found your design on youtube. For personal reasons, I won't be able to start the build in the next 12 months, but I'm yet sure it'll be a "frankeinstein" version: the size of a regular PrintNC and the railling and Z axis concept from this one. Impressive work and very smart solutions 👍
Love it, absolutely love this design. The amount of effort that you have put into the community and these designs is hands down impressive. Can’t wait to build this machine!!
Yet another very cool and well planed design. You should have a medal for all the work you do. I am about to build an original printNC from second hand materials for my own use. However, the mine seems like a very interesting project for my work shop students. I am looking forward to the release.
This looks amazing!! I was planning on the full size PrintNC but I like the upgrade path from my MPCNC to the mini. Then I’ll build the PrintNC later. Thanks for all your hard work!
Extremely impressive machine! I may just have to build one of these, I'm really missing my old CNC (sold it with my company) and want a smaller machine and not design it myself :P I'll definitely be looking into this machine and it's bigger brother :)
Hello and thank you very much for this super project and all the hard work you put into. I like to ask you if carriages are mandatory to be with flange ? Regards !
Hello Three Designs, I have been watching your video's and really appreciate all of the effort and time you have put into these models. I am looking to construct my own CNC but with a few changes based on the parts I have on hand form a large 3D printer I have built. I wanted to get in touch with you to have a chat as I also live in Sydney Australia. Are you able to PM me some contact details?
Very cool, been looking to modify the current design to something similar. This is way better than anything I could come up with. Question: are 170oz nema’s sufficient for this design? Or do I need high torque 300oz and over? I do plan to mill 7075 alum. Any suggestions would be helpful.
The Mini uses 92 ozIn Nema 17's in either closed loop or open loop options. The Steppers you have suggested there would be better suited to a full size PrintNC which uses Nema23

What a amazing effort, the machine looks great. As a newbie I'm not sure my skills would be up to the build.

Love the design. When will it be available?
Super cool machine!
Really thought through kudos 👌
Nice! When did the motors go in the beams?

Muy Interesante, Excelente.
run the rails on the face plate that travels to add rigidity
Any update on when this design will be done?
Is this project still alive? Are the hardware kits still available? And what is the cutting area of this machine?
Great job!
any updates on this one?
Hello, is the file for this updated z axis available?
