I love the color of the purple top, but can understand the stripe issue. The paper bag pants are cute too! Your box was much better than mine I think!! I’m going to have to try them again! I hope you are feeling better soon 💕
Thank you, Donna! 💜I think I'm going to give them another shot, as well. I like having a less-expensive option to show my viewers, as I am sure you are. I've arrived at the conclusion that I'm having allergies, and having a hard time shaking it completely.🙄

Hey Nancy! I like the striped purple sweater. I thought it was a decent to good box. I would watch another Drapefit unboxing. I totally agree there is room for some budget friendly style boxes. My last Stitch Fix was so friggin expensive! I sent it all back. Thanks for the shout out ;) xo
Hey Shannon! 💜 I've definitely seen worse Drape Fit unboxings. They do seem to be slowly improving with time. I think they're going to have to find a way to refund that styling fee if they want to stay alive in this space, thpugh.
The red top has a nice drape to it. It makes your shape look very balanced. The pants are nice. The 2 tops you didn't like weren't bad--they flattered your shape. The necklace is pretty and the cardi looks cozy.

I like the concept and I love the give-back. It would be nice to see a couple more unboxings from this company. They can clearly use some PR as they try to break into the fashion styling industry.
Yes, a large learning curve with this company. I do think they would be wise to raise the prices a bit and credit the $20 styling fee back to any purchase. People are going to shy away from the company until they do.
Wikipedia described a Raglan sleeve better than I could (and yes, it appears that purple top is Raglan - perhaps you were thinking of Dolman?) From Wikipedia: A is a sleeve that extends in one piece fully to the collar, leaving a diagonal seam from underarm to collarbone.
Sounds like this company needs to get some of the kinks out. Nice that they donate to a cause you can relate to.

Hey my friend! I would have liked that color block tee better if it would have continued around to the back. The bow on the red top just felt weird to me. And the buttons on those pants where at exactly the whitest place in my hips. I sent them back, but now I wonder if I should have kept them and changed out the buttons.
I think that the red top was the most flattering in color and shape. If you keep one that’s the one I would choose.

I really like they give back and the cause is personal and close to your heart, (guess I could have worded that better, but you know what I mean). Hey Barbara! 💜 I'm slowly improving. I think if they don't find a way to credit that styling fee back- perhaps by slightly raising their prices- they aren't going to last long. It's just what styling service customers have come to expect.
This was an interesting box, the paperbag pants looked great on you. I would give them another try. Its definitely not as good quality items as say Trendsend but I agree theres a place for this tyoe of box in the market. Thanks for anotherbgreat video!

Hi Nancy Anne! I've been meaning too schedule my first Drape Fit. I did like the paper bag pants and red top. Both were cute and I think this box could be a good affordable option. I think like you have said before, it can take a few tries before these styling services really get your style down. Thanks for sharing with us!

I have seen quite a few Drape Fit unboxings in the last month or so and your box had the nicest items. Everything looked well on you but nothing was outstanding. I did like the color block shirt on you. I'm not sure if I would try the service myself because I am at a point where I will only buy things that I love and know I will wear. There was a time when I would buy an item just because it fit me and looked well on me. I'm pickier now. I don't know that I would be ok spending $20 every box knowing it won't go towards anything I keep. I guess it sort of balances out the lower priced items. If you only keep one item you have to keep in mind that it is really costing you $20 more than the price on the tag.
Hey Sharon! That same thing has occurred to me. Really, the only way you get that $20 to pay off is if you keep the entire box. I think they need to do some adjusting. It might actually be smarter for them to raise the prices slightly and apply the $20 towards any box purchase. It's just what people expect from these services.
@@nancyannesunboxings I totally agree! Raising the price a bit on each item is much easier to swallow than automatically "losing" the styling fee.
Hi Nancy Anne! I do think there is a place for this type of box. And I love that they help people with disabilities! So I’d love to see another box or two from them….maybe wait a few months to see if they iron out some of their issues? I thought the items were okay, and I did love the pants. But overall, the stuff didn’t wow me. If it was me, the only thing I’d keep would be the pants. I have to say though, the striped sweater looked good on you…but I understand about the stripes.
Hi Gloria! 💜 I would have probably kept the pants if it weren't for those buttons. They really did put a pinpoint on my saddlebags. That's actually a very good idea to wait a few months before featuring them again. They've already improved quite a bit in the short amount of time I've been watching their unboxings. I do love the cause.

I like to have clothing items that I wear around the house that were reasonably priced and save the expensive pieces. The items in this box did not suit you but I would try it again. I like seeing you in the glittery pants, they do look comfortable.

Hi Nancy Anne. I liked the length of the black paper bag trousers and I also thought the off white cardigan looked pretty….both great items for spring and for your trip! X This seemed like a reasonably priced box and because of that, I guess you can accept slightly less quality items.

Looking back at the footage, I didn't think it was so bad either. But I don't think it's something I would reach for in my closet.
I’ve seen a lot of these boxes now. They reached out to me to do a video and I decided against it. I’m at the point now that I’m only motivated by what I love. I don’t care how inexpensive it is, if it doesn’t spark joy, it doesn’t belong in my closet.

I've seen a few Drape Fit unboxings. Yours was a bit better than those, but it just seems like leftover stuff that no one wanted. Quality doesn't seem to be there, so even though the prices aren't too high they are high for what you get. Also, spending $20 and not getting it back is a deal breaker for me.

I did not think I would like the pants but they look nice on you. Overall a nice box and the pricing is better than most. I don't like that they don't credit the styling fee if you buy something but if that brings the pricing down overall I guess that is fair. Thanks for introducing me to this box. I think it would be better for the company if they would raise the prices and slightly and credit the styling fee back. I also don't understand why they gave me a gift card, which basically just involves scratching off the code on the back so I can enter it as a coupon on checkout. It would save them money in materials if they simply credited my account
Oo! Well this was a big surprise! Didn’t like anything as it came out the box but in all honesty nothing was offensive, in fact everything looked good on you! … the lilac jumper (well done on figuring out the raglan! I was yelling it at the screen when you first said it ) it looks amazing on you! I loved the colour and the fit! The white across the bust doesn’t pull your eye as much as you thought it would, the lilac draws your eye more! Such a pretty colour on you! The paper bag trousers also looked fab, loved the length, they were a proper crop and just at the perfect point on your leg. I thought they were flattering on accentuated your waist and made the most of your curves (bar the buttons, I’d change them to black ones) loved the fact they are lighter weight and can be worn through summer! Would look fabulous with that pink tank you kept, was it a Michael stars one?! Anyway loved the whole outfit! ..the red top, colour was good on you, the fit though relaxed was still flattering for your shape and the fact that it was loose made me think it would be great for those hot days in the coming months with some capris or shorts with some sandals or flats… the block tshirt wasn’t as shapeless as I thought it was going to be, in fact it looked like it could have been shaped and not just straight cut. For some reason I thought it suited you, maybe it was because you were wearing black jeans so the bottom of the tshirt just blended into the jeans therefore making the top look like it stopped at your waist… the popcorn cardigan (in the old days I believe we called it boucle) I have a few of those, not necessarily that shape or colour but I can tell you they wash amazingly, don’t loose their shape or ever seem to look old. I’ve had some for 10years and they still look as good as new and let me tell you I’ve worn it a million times! 😂, it was nice, soft and the colour looked more ivory than creamy which like me you seem to be ok with! …I’m completely baffled! The box really has surprised me! Yes you can see the items are not the quality of the higher priced brands but they don’t look cheap! If you had a few holes in your closet that needed filling I think it would be great, the prices certainly reflect what your getting but sometimes the items will surprise you and be some of the longest wearing clothing…. If you were to keep anything I would suggest the trousers if they are ok on the thigh (you said the were a little tight) I’d love you to get that lilac jumper, it’s just so flattering on you but I’m sure you won’t as all you can see is white on the bust 😂….. I don’t mind seeing if they get better in the long run, the thing is would you be happy loosing $20 if there was nothing you wanted to keep? I know they donate to a charity close to your heart but how much of the money is going to Down syndrome higher education. If your happy in the fact your essentially donating some money then feel free, I’m fine to watch! … you know me I like watching your stuff! Hi there! 💜 They did a better job on me than most of the others I've seen. Like I mentioned, they gave me a $20 gift card because, I believe, I mentioned I have a UA-cam channel. So I was able to use that. Why they didn't just credit my account, I am not sure. I think if they are going to survive in this space, they are going to have to credit that $20 back to everyone and perhaps raise their prices a bit to make up the difference. It's just what people expect from these services. They said 10% of profits go to Ruby's Rainbow. But for me, while nice, that's not a deciding factor. If they continue to give me a gift card, I will continue to make videos of them occasionally. These are not the quality clothing I want to fill my wardrobe with, but to give my viewers of all income levels options, I'm happy to do it.

@@corran2000 not the clothes. I just kept the necklace with the gift card. Like I said, I'll use that in a future giveaway. None of the clothing really felt like it had a place in my wardrobe.

This is different for an unboxing. I admire that they are looking to support a charity. I prefer woman’s plus sizes so they are not going to be a box for me. Maybe they will expand in the future. I did like the red top on you. I could see it looking great with denim or white pants for spring / summer. The top with the color block stripes looked good. I even liked the long cardigan. No on the tiny lilac sweater. Being tall I like longer cardigans as long as when I get to the added outerwear the sweater will not hang out from underneath. The length of the paper bag pants would not work for a taller person. Being tall I dislike pants that hit me in that place on my calf. It does work for you though. Not a fan of the necklace. Maybe because I design my own jewelry and like more of a statement piece. Overall, I did enjoy watching this unboxing. Hope you feel better soon.
Hi again, Lynne! 💜 I am on the taller side (5'9"), so those pants weren't too bad. However, I was concerned they would shrink in the wash. I couldn't afford to lose any more length! That's so cool you make your own jewelry! I mostly wear precious metals and genuine stones because I love anything I choose and want it to last. So the necklace was not for me. 🙂
I personally would never pay $20 for a box of cheap clothes.
