Something about pixel art having smooth, organic-looking animation that wouldn't have been possible on actual 8 and 16-bit consoles is so captivating to me.
I remember being subbed to dunkey when he was playing sm64 and really going through it struggling with life stuff. to see him so happy and fulfilled and straight up successful in his endeavors is really heartwarming and inspiring. Congrats on the release date, fully expect this game to be immediately #1 on steam charts and overwhelmingly positive reviews day 1! I will be there. Congrats Dunkey, Leah, Billy, and everyone at Bigmode!

This is going to be very well received. The visuals are gorgeous. Gameplay seems simple to pick up and slick. Audio and Score sound ethereal. And the best part? Each aspect elevates the others, all work together. And it’s beautiful. Some of my favourite indies also do this perfectly. I see Animal Well being put up there amongst Hollow Knight, Hyper Light Drifter, Tunic.
I can't stop waiting for the next one well like game!, now no jokes this game looks fucking incredible, hope It also releases on the ps4, I really want to play this
The game looks good, wishlisted on steam. And it needs only 1 GB Ram to run. Perfect example of how games don't need to eat up hardware to look good if you're smart. Well done 👍 Edit: and it needs only 40 MB disk space, you guys became 10x smarter in my eyes if the game doesn't end up being too short on play time.

To be honest I usually don't go for games like these as somebody who's high functioning autistic games without communication sometimes are a real hit or miss for me but the game is so intuitive and how the environment reacts to the player really makes this game feel alive also as a '90s kid the lighting in the game really is reminiscent of a light bright
OMG, it does look like a lite bright! I love the art and sound direction. It is usually a hit or miss with games like this for me too and this just feels very intuitive and makes me want to explore.
My favorite games tend to be the ones that don't interrupt you and let you look at beautiful scenery once in a while, like hollow knight, and this game seems like it'll have a ton of both.

visuals are disgusting IMO. my eyes hurt after looking at the trailer. Everyone is too neon-flashy.
