- Snow, bitter cold, then heavy rains has turned the hunt country into woods flooded with water, and very, very soggy, saturated fields. In spite of all that, foxes and hounds showed great sport today. Stick with it- best views of the fox are in the latter portion, but good hound work throughout.
I believe these foxhunters take care of their foxes pretty good. They've had several years of video posted. If they were killing foxes, they couldn't have all these posts, because they're hunting the same area.
Your being sarcastic right? Watch the bloody mess the dogs turn into. Those foxes are as good as gone.
Lilt Stone, most of these hounds probably never seen a fox, let alone catch it. Don't assume something you know nothing about.
@@kennethheern4896 Then explain. I don't seem to understand this bs. Look at any other video, they don't spare the fox. Take into count the numerous dogs who retreat in other videos that are red and bloodied. If this is so, I'd love to see a helmet cam.
lily stone. This is the American Foxhunting, which is totally different than the English style. In England the farmers want the fox killed. The American foxhunters are doing it to hear and watch Ther hounds work the trail, not kill the fox. I've been around foxhounds all my life (66 yrs) and we certainly don't want our foxes killed. We run the same foxes most of the time in the same area. This is for the pleasure of hearing the hounds.
Kenneth Heern you couldn’t of said it any better,,, at my Fox pen there not boxes with little holes in it that only the fox can fit through and if it gets in a bind it knows it’s safe on there so it goes there

nothing cruel about it. the foxes actually enjoy it. I've run hounds for 50 years. Foxes actually bark at the hounds to let them know where they are. of course we're not out to kill any foxes. just love to here the hounds and watch them work a track.

hi again .nice to see plenty of foxs on the ground hard on hounds with all the scent.I taught they hunted very well for a threncher fed pack .Big differance between hounds kennelled together and a thencher pack .Cant wait to see MR Jeremy Stewart hounds .
+denis ahern , thanks! Denis. Yeah, when you draw a covert and 4 foxes are running around in one small section, that's a challenge ! Too bad the fox they were running went out the opposite side of the woods - with ALL on - and I didn't get to catch him on camera until the end. 😉

I'm in Tennessee copperhill I refuse to walk my dogs out if they don't hunt and find their own game they are culls and when you said they have to run in single file cuz the briars that's all we have here and pine thickets and they float up and down ridges if they don't pack and run in a wade they are culls I'll put a video up of mine I'm I'm not saying your dogs are bad just theirs always room for improvemant

Fox last week literally ran out into the open to one of our two small terriers 30 ft ahead of us on the farm and tried to snatch and run off with him. In the middle of the fucking day, right in front of people try and snatch someones pet. Same fox that's constantly snooping around the chickens waiting for a moment I'm not looking to dig under and kill them. Please tell me again foxes have done nothing to us. I apologize but when they get that brave and cocky It's instant cull. I have my own animals at home I'm trying to protect.
