Hey I've been using my own set up for a while but since I have a 7200 dpi mouse is it worth to upgrade to a 12k one? I'm thinking of going from steel series rival 110 to the rival 600 after I've completed my set up and so on.

Hello. I need a quick reply. Been using xim. Have good settings for guns. But there is one problem.
When I use specialist "REAPER" sensitivity suddenly gets too high. Before it's ok with normal guns. So please help. Do I have to use axillary for it?
Ive never tried the reaper specialist, does it come with some special sensitivity circumstance? Does the sensitivity also change for the controller? Do you notice any differences in your xim manager when this happens?
Hi, can you explain the smooth aim transition button and do you need different ads delay times if you were to run gung-ho and/or quickdraw?
Hey, with quickdraw you will basically divide your delay by two, so if a regular weapon uses a delay of 200 then with quickdraw it would be 100. This applies to other perks as well that change the ads time. As for the smooth aim transition, it allows for a soft change between the HIP and ADS translator. Without the smooth transition your xim would instantly change the aim mechanic after 200 or 100 milliseconds. Without smooth aim transition you therefore need to me much more accurate with your delay number. Therefore smooth transition is the better option as you do not need to use the perfect delay value.

i play on 4k dpi and it feels great
Does anybody have problems choosing gestures with the mouse? In a custom match (alone), hold the D-pad Left (or Right) button, then use the mouse to choose a gesture. No matter how fast I moved my mouse left or right, the game did not detect it, even though I'm using an Anti-Aim-Assist ballistic curve that has high-end acceleration. In order to successfully choose gestures with the mouse, I had to introduce _more_ acceleration into my ballistic curve.
With the PS4 controller itself, I have to push the right stick all the way (left or right) to choose a gesture, so the game is looking for maximum deflection of the thumbstick.
The problem was my original ballistic curve. It limited rotation speed to 66%, which was not fast enough to choose gestures. If you use the default ballistic curve (the linear curve that goes up to 100%), you're probably OK. As I mentioned earlier, my adjusted ballistic curve works better; it goes up to the ceiling (100%).
Mr. Xim Gameplay? Is there a way we can have 2 configurations for 1 game? Such as Black Ops 4....One for Blackout and one for the Multi player part? Or do we to continue to switch back and forth if choose too? I appreciate your help in advance.
Well there are two ways, the first one would be to use the same configuration for both games. So one config for both. Of course the button bindings have to work for both games so that might be a bit hard, same for the mouse sensitivity and such. Id recommend to use two xim game profiles, so two configurations. Switch between the two with the hotkey option, F1 = BO4 multiplayer and F2 = Blackout for example. The xim will instantly load these when you press the hotkey. Alternatively you could of course run one config with some sub configurations in it but overall it would not be much different than using hotkeys with two configs (which is less complex).

Would it be better running no curve and AA off in game? I find the AA is extremely strong in game and was running the RML curve but still find the AA to strong at times
If you turn off aim assist in this CoD game then this will only reduce the aim assist strength but not fully remove it, so a curve on top might help.
now that u can turn up ads and scope sens in game, should i max them up then adjust it using the xim?

@XIMGameplay i am using DPI 7200 mouse. What changes should I do with your configuration? Also if you paste the code will be great or what should be calculation formula with proportionate with DPI
Use 3000-4000 dpi, more dpi can result in problems on clothpads. Also more dpi is not necessary and will not increase your accuracy. The main changes you should do in the configuration are to bind the buttons to your preference and adjust the xim sensitivity. Of course you can also change more but thats optional.

I need help. How do I make my black ops 4 hip sensitivity the same as my ads sensitivity. I want bo4 to feel like rainbow six siege, and the slow ads sens really bugs me.
You have to look up the HIP to ADS ratio of console BO4 via google, i dont know the ratio right now but its different for all the scopes.
Whether Smooth Aim Transition is on or off or which is close to the feeling of pc ?
For CoD you need to keep it on, for any other game its not needed.

I was watching because I can't see where to bind the dual key function R1 L1 to use special on xim. I noticed watching your video your config has different options to bind than my config, I don't see options for scorestreaks like you have. I have downloaded the latest game configs an still different, what could be going on, thanks!
Thats odd man, did you create the same config as me in the video? (BO4/Blackout). Also about the special, you can bind L1 and R1 to one key in your secondary bindings. That way you can use it with a single button press.

This is all dependent on what sync you want, what hz your at, if you have aim assist on, if you use boost or ballistic curve ect. 3000-4000 isn't always the best depending on how you wanna be setup

Hey, aim assist is a personal preference so there is no better or worse option. Some people are better with aim assist, other players do better without it. Therefore try both and give it enough time to make up your mind. Id suggest you to play one week without aim assist and then one week with aim assist.

@@bastyenc6049 Oh i see, well the aim assist is turned off in the game. But that will only reduce its strength, you cannot fully deactivate the aim assist. Overall the aim assist in CoD is a bit too strong for me, but with sync common and aim assist off you have a good experience id say. Then again aim assist is personal preference, some people love a strong aim assist and do very well with it.
Hey, I think I found a bug (XIM Apex firmware 5.00.20180501) when a Sony PS3 NAV Controller (instead of keyboard) is connected to the XIM Apex. Easy to reproduce. On PS4, start CoD BO4, press (X) to "start" the Menu screen (Multiplayer / Blackout / Zombies). In your XIM Apex Manager, in the ADS subconfig, un-check the "Inherit" box and change the Left Stick Deadzone to 30000. (UPDATE: configure a small HIP Config Left-Stick Deadzone as well, say 300 or less; default: 7500) Press/hold your ADS button a few times. On-screen, you'll see the cursor (the round white circle, usually moved with left stick) jump every time. It jumps at the end of the ADS Delay period (mine is 324 ms.). If the Delay is longer, say 1000 ms., then the jump will occur after holding ADS for 1 second. If the Deadzone is smaller, then the jump will be smaller. In game, your reticle jumps at the moment you finish transitioning to ADS, which is the worst possible time. You don't have to use the NAV at all; it only has to be connected. Your ADS button doesn't have to be on the NAV, e.g. it can be the right mouse button. When I activate a different subconfig and press ADS, it does _not_ activate the ADS subconfig (which is normal), so the jump does _not_ occur. The problem only occurs while going from HIP to ADS. If you disconnect the NAV, the problem goes away.
FYI, this problem _always_ happens, but it's easiest to see in CoD BO4 screens where you have mouse-like control of the cursor. So, if you close the game and press/hold ADS while in PS4 menus, your current position will jump around.
The problem seems to go away if I set the HIP Config's Left Stick Deadzone to at least 2200 (default: 7500). Below 2200, the problem is intermittent. I could also "fix" the problem by setting HIP Config's Left Stick Deadzone to 30000 and letting ADS Config inherit this deadzone, but this is not acceptable to me; I don't want a big deadzone in HIP Config. I only want a big deadzone in ADS Config, so that when I press the left stick to hold breath while sniping, I'm less likely to accidentally strafe while pressing the thumbstick.
Do You hold right mouse to ADS, or press it?
My right mouse button is not ADS, it's configured as R3 (which does "crouch" if using Tactical button layout). It was great for dropshots, which are not so effective these days. Anyway, I hold down my ADS button, but it can be configured as a toggle button if you want. You can see the Toggle checkbox at 10:14 , which is unchecked by default.
I hold it down, its more accurate and faster than using a toggle feature. Toggle also has the chance of going out of sync which can be annoying.
I have slight stutter or like recoil it's weird. when I use a controller I don't have any recoil. my settings are 500hz, 3000dpi, common Sync, 10 smoothing, I like the aim assist. should I up the smoothing or what would get rid of the recoil/stutter? thanks!

XIMGameplay like the first shot I shoot when I aim in it seems like the gun will jump and I can't control it. I turned my smoothing to 15 and it seemed to go away. what else would you suggest?
@@Shabaloga Oh this is a game feature and has nothing to do with your xim, the weapon is meant to kick up to reduce your accuracy with it. Recoil control is a common aspect in games to increase the skillgap, you have to learn the recoil patterns and move your mouse accordingly to compensate for the recoil. Smoothing will not help a lot, i recommend you to not use smoothing. Instead make sure that you use xim settings that allow for a high amount of accuracy so you get more control over your recoil. Also you can use a XYRatio of above 1 to give you a faster mouse speed in the y axis so you do not need to drag down your mouse so much.
XIMGameplay yeah I understand. just felt a little weird. I like the aim assist I get with the smoothing though. I turned it off and it didn't feel any smoother or anything. is 15 the right amount for max aim assist?
@@Shabaloga Yeah smoothing will increase the aim assist, however a value of 15 is already quite high. If you like your mouse movements though then theres absolutly no problem with using a smoothing of 15. Do you recommend a curve at all? Do you have a hard time fighting the aim assist at all?
I only recommend a curve for HIP/ADS if you want to increase or remove the aim assist (for example the RML Anti Aim Assist Curve). Aim Assist is really strong in CoD, so yes it can be a problem sometimes. If you want to reduce the aim assist then play with sync default or off and maybe even use a curve on top :). Also you can deactivate the aim assist in the game options, although it will only reduce its strength and not fully turn it off.

I believe this is a second tutorial for the same game? In the first video he first two auxiliary options are utilized for other features. That is different than what you show here. I’m confused.
Hey, the first video is for the CoD Battle Royale mode named Blackout. This video is for the regular CoD BO4 multiplayer. Both games work a bit differently, the battle royale needs two sub configurations while the regular multiplayer only needs one :).

Hey I have a new question now i have my perfect aim but while I am playing at of no where my aim sensitivity goes super low and after few games it goes back to normal what can I do it’s very annoying for example I have everything in common aim and with it goes slow I have to move it to slow.

@@f4bianr64 We can test this step by step, the error is most likely either in your xim config or the way you setup your mouse. Lets test the xim config first. Please create a brand new Rainbow Six Siege xim config. After that go into the xim config editing mode, scroll all the way to the bottom and change your aim down sights button. Now press save and test this config in a RB6 game with bots/cpu. Does the problem still occur? Some buttons might not be bound correctly, just ignore that and test if the mouse problems happen again.

@@f4bianr64 Ok so a fresh new RB6 config didnt change it right? Then please try a different mouse, any regular desktop mouse would do the trick. Let me know if it still happens with a different mouse.
What’s funny is they recommend 12k but for Razer mice like my Chroma. The highest 10k setting is smooth but has added sensor smoothing so it’s super floaty and has a bunch of AA. I tried 800 and it’s snappy as hell. The sensor in a Chroma has smoothing at 1600dpi. The Logitech that they recommend doesn’t. I’m sure 12k is fast as hell.
Go with something around 3000 dpi for the best performance, see my best dpi tutorial for a more indepth answer for why its the best dpi value.

How well will my Razer Deathadder CLG edition and Razer deathstalker chroma work with the Apex?
The chroma models work really well with the xim, not sure about the CLG version though. if it has onboard memory and at least 3000 dpi then you are perfectly fine :).

How do you copy and paste xim configurations?
Tick the expert mode in the global settings of your xim manager, after that open a new BO4 xim config (or whatever game config you want to copy paste). Click on the config editing button and in the first menu where you can adjust the config light and hotkey press the button with the three dots at the bottom. Copy the whole code of the config you want to copy (the code for this config is linked in the video description) and then press the paste button to insert it into your config.

What are your dpi and polling settings for the g502 hero? I can’t seem to get rid of the studder it has in black ops 4 blackout. I’ve tried 500 polling and 2400 dpi (g502 hero default) using high sensitivity (hip-70, ads-45) with default syncing. I’ve also tried this with medium sensitivity (aim-45, ads-30) with common syncing. I’ve tried both with various degrees of smoothing. I’ve also tried raising the polling to 1000 and have tried 4000 dpi and 16000 dpi with various sensitivity, syncing and smoothing with a lot of frustration. I’m using a cloth trackpad if that helps. Any tips? Settings to share?
Hey, please connect your mouse to the pc and start the logitech gaming driver. The first thing you have to make sure is that you ticked the box for onboard memory, or else all your mouse changes wont carry over to the xim. Now set your mouse to 500hz and 3200 dpi. Then go into the advanced settings and set the mousepad to the g240 there which is a clothpad. That way your mouse sensor knows that it is used on a clothpad and not a plastic pad. After that connect it back to the xim and set the xim to 500hz too. Restart the xim now so your polling rate changes become active. The next step is to set your BO4 config to sync common. If you still have mouse stutter now then add a little bit of smoothing (3-5) but there should be no stutter now anymore.

da würde ich eher von abraten, für hip/ads ist eine kurve nur sinnvoll wenn man den aim assist anpassen will (zb RML anti aim assist kurve). CoD hat eine so hohe maximale drehgeschwindigkeit sodass kurven für schnelleres drehen oder mehr präzision eigentlich nicht notwendig sind. Lediglich für langsame killstreaks ist eine kurve definitiv sinnvoll.

Is the zim manager on PC? Do I have to hook this up to my PC before I connect it on my xbox?
You can use the xim manager via pc, ios or android. So its up to you which device you want to use to configure it. And yes you preferably want to configure the xim and its game config first before you start playing (stuff like your sensitivity, button bindings and so on). @@lv_raiders478 Depends on the game, if it doesnt require lots of buttons being pressed at the same time then i use the back button (Halo or other arcade shooter). If the game has lots of ability buttons and other actions you have to perform at the same time then i use the right click (fortnite, overwatch, ...).
Ich habe die settings wie in deinen Tutorials befolgt, allerdings habe ich das Gefühl, das wenn ich am pc spiele es sich besser anfühlt als an der Xbox one. An der Xbox One fühlt es sich so an als hätte ich am pc vsync an, also es zieht so ganz minimal nach
das ist normal auf der konsole, die konsolenversion eines spiels hat immer einen höheren enginelag als die pc version, wodurch alle bewegungen eine etwas höhere verzögerung haben als am pc. hinzu kommen die framerate einbrüche der spiele, bzw einige spiele haben vsync aktiv was idr nicht in den spieleoptionen abgeschalten werden kann. (eine konsole ist halt nicht so leistungsfähig wie ein aktueller gaming pc)

Are you copying the whole code inluding the arrows? Also its a code made for XIM Apex, if you have a xim4 then you need to manually do everything as the code wont work.

@@Bushido_24 Oh wait you updated to the latest beta firmware with steady aim, boost and so on? The thing is the copy code has changed for that firmware so an older code might not work. Id recommend you to manually do the config then without the copy code.

Yes absolutly, if a config video is outdated due to recent game changes i usually upload a new version. BO4 hasnt received any updates recently so its still up to date :).
If I wanted to increase the sensitivity, would have to make changes to other settings?
If you want to change your sensitivity dont change the ingame controller sensitivity. Instead adjust your XIM HIP and ADS sensitivity instead. You can also change your mouse DPI, that also works.
Hey sag mal die meisten spielen ja mit sync off und boost 12000 dpi und 1000hz. Ich würde aber sehr gerne sync verbreitet benutzen da die Maus Bewegung angenehmer ist und man keine Glättung benötigt. Jedoch hat man bei sync verbreitet echt Probleme mit der aim assist bubble und man bleibt ab und zu hängen oder trifft das ziel nicht. Jetzt gibt es ja die settings boost und steady aim. Welchen sync wert und boost wert würdest du mir empfehlen um das gleiche Ergebnis zu erziehen als würde ich sync off benutzen, also sodass ich ohne Probleme in die aim assist blase rein komme und wieder raus komme??
Würde auf Boost 200-300 gehen und die Simulate Analog Behavior Funktion auf 50 stellen (sofern du dich auf BO4 beziehst).

@@domenicalbrecht3645 genau mit einem sony nav hat die sab funktion keine wirkung, also einfach auf 0 stellen. steady aim hilft nicht wirklich um das mausgefühl näher an sync off zu bekommen, das kannst du hauptsächlich über boost und sab erzielen :). falls du doch steady aim nutzen willst versuche es mit sehr niedrigen werten, etwa 2-4.

we need sniper settings?
Im not a very good sniper though, not sure if my settings would be good for great sniper players. I can try and see if i can get feedback from good sniper players regarding their setups.

Hey, did you maybe set your SAB value too high? Try it with 0 in your XIM Config. If that doesnt work check the connected controller if you can actually sprint with that one or if that also doesnt work.

Try both, aim assist off and on and stick with the setting you like the most. The reason is that aim assist is a personal preference, some people are better with aim assist while others are better without it. Try to find out what works best for yourself, sync common gives the best mouse movements in general so its overall a good syncronzation to start with (with or without aim assist).
@@Sonyrocks1Of You realize that with sync slow or common the aim assist feels even stronger right? Yes the aim assist is still extremly strong with sync off, i didnt claim that snyc off completely removes the aim assist. All i said is that it gives the lowest aim assist out of all sync options.

I usually keep the aim assist on unless its extremly stong and annoying, then i turn it off. In Black Ops 4 the aim assist will still be active when you turn it off in the settings, its just a little bit less strong. Therefore try both options and play with the one that works better for you :).
How can i make the sprint to no toggle????
This has to be an option in the game menu, the xim doesnt make your sprint go toggle or hold. Its about how the game implemented the sprint feature.

Why do people say off is better? I switched back to common on the beta firmware with steady aim and boost and it’s noticeably better and more responsive on 3200 dpi. Usually I play 10k though and off.
People have different preferences and perfer to claim that their settings are the best. Off is only good in a handfull of games or when you want to reduce the aim assist, in most other games default and common give the best mouse movements.

@@Wxstrn Its one of the games where sync off gives good results. especially because the aim assist is so strong in the game. However you shouldnt use a lot of dpi with sync off and also check if your mouse can handle a steady 1000hz via one of the benchmark tests as it might be better to run 500hz with sync off.
Thanks for the reply and info I’ve read a lot on the boards and on the Reddit. I’m an old comp gamer and got tired of scufs breaking and use to be a pro cs1.6 player and was excited to switch over. I switched to 3k and notice some stutter but smoothing helped get rid of that and did the sens calculation from 90hip to something like 238. Ads is like from 19 to 30. I’m also using the RML 50% curve and 0.7 SA with 90 boost on both will mess around with it.
@@Wxstrn Those settings sound pretty good! These are good aim assist reduction settings.
I bounce around between common and sync off with a ballistic curve. This is why I love the xim. If I’m having a bad day and my aim is bad I switch to common to get more aim assist. Xim gives the player so much control over their controls it’s crazy. Thank you

Thats a good idea, although it would probably be more like a "how to control weapon recoil" video where the XYRatio is one of the options :).
By the way you wrote that your headset doesnt work with your xim, is that still the case? If so please let me know what console you are on and what headset you have.
XIMGameplay the problem with the head set was I accidentally unplugged it from my controller and plugged it back in but it didn’t work until I had to restart the Xim altogether. And it’s on the ps4.

For people with xim background knowledge, yes. But these tutorials are designed so that even a xim newcomer can understand everything and doesnt make a single setup error. Just skip through the parts that you are already familiar with :).

Absolutly, yes. But a lot of games dont offer that option, you are forced to play with aim assist.

If the copy paste code doesnt work for you then you are on a different firmware version than the one i used for this video. I think it was the official firmware i used for that video so no beta firmware. Either way id recommend you to manually copy the config then.
