Yamaha Rhino 660 Rough Idle SOLVED!

- This 2007 Rhino had a rough idle cold and an unusually high idle once warm! The engine had to be shut down to change gears! I'll go over step by step what I did to repair it and how to repair your Rhino if you have similar issues.

at 7:59, you said you are taking some off of the tip of the cable. Did you mean off of the tip of the elbow? At least it looks like that's what you did.
Yes. Off the outer casing at the elbow. Take small bits at a time and try it between cuts. Does not take much

I just replaced the carb & fuel pump on mine. Now when it cranks it idles WAY high. Any tips on how to adjust the throttle or carb on a Rhino?
The choke cable could be stuck as you saw in the video or your idle is set too high. There is a thumb screw on the side of the carb for making that adjustment

That is possible however, based on mileage and engine hours, I think it is not strtched
Why not just us the cable adjustment that's what I did once 3 years ago that's what it's for, original owner of a 2004
The cable adjustment was at it's maximum. That's why I made the alteration
