Just special seeing if fishing from the shore to catch a beast like that would be something else , brilliant film and thank you for showing us them absolute special cod , tight lines all
I spoke to Daniel last year and he said that he was not aware of anyone seriously trying cod fishing in the area. It would be a hell of a catch though!
What a grrat video, im starting to watch more and more of these and one day i hope to be able to visit your camp and take part in the beauty of Norway 🇳🇴 InshaAllah
From my point of view, this was a little bit slow and lacked a bit of backbone/story Not particularly engaging and felt like it was more of an advert for the fishing company. I know this wasn't a Martin Bowler film but the fleeting moments he was on screen, he seemed off the pace and lacked enthusiasm. Compared with his old Passion For Angling etc films, which I adored. On a plus, the cinematography for this was next level, absolutely stunning. Hats off to the person behind the camera, a serious talent there!
@@MrKveite1 either, I know Martin is more of a coarse all rounder, but, more sea fishing videos of this quality on fishflix could tempt me to subscribe. Would love to see more skrei cod action and tactics, but equally, I would be very happy to see normal cod, halibut and most of all coalies on surface lures😍🥳 I do love Martin’s and Laurence’s films they are beautifully shot and balanced, so more sea fishing content and I will subscribe.
There are loads of vids from north Norway here on youtube covering theese requests so it's just a mather of start watching. Open your youtube and type Coalfish on topwater. That gives you some hrs of fun:)@@bassblanker5359
tons of vids out there for free. Unless you like paying 8 .99 a month for a film every year at sea lol. I couldn't support it because of martins character and recent actions rehooking barbel@@bassblanker5359
I love his films, just reminds me of the all time classic Passion for Angling, so happy to support him if he has Sea Angling content. As to the recent furore I couldn’t give a toss, we stick hooks in fish for our kicks so who am I to hold the moral high ground🤷♂️ We all make mistakes, sure he wouldn’t do it again, so we move on.
As long as you are not injuring the gills, there is no damage to the fish. It is very easy to do this correctly on larger cods. The larger danger for the cod, is if you just lift a large one up by the head/gill plates only as you will hurt or even break their spine because of the weight above water. That is clearly the reason for why they use that "bag" to lift up the bigger fish when they intend to release them.
Absolutely stunning vista and fish BUT.... BE WARNED... I've a friend who's grandfather / Father used to fish the flemish cap and the grand banks of North America cost in the 1950s /60's.. Equally as good as this IF NOT BETTER....Through human stupidly and greed its now a desolate baron wasteland ( compared to then.). Be warned not to go the same way. The seas MUST BE FARMED As on dry land.. it only takes a few decades to destroy it... Brilliant video.
Fantastic film, absolutely stunning.
No Cod were rehooked in the making of this video
What an incredible film!
Beautiful stuff Laurence mate, just lovely.

Is that barbel at the end of the fish flex advert the one he hooked and played twice back to back?
dream place to visit for sure!
Brilliant Martin

Still waiting for your amazing videos 😂
Have a look at the 'Winter in the Atlas Mountains' episode of Dynasties, on BBC iplayer.. enjoy 😉
Totally agree. I am surprised AT is posting this given Maertins recent conduct.
@CymruCelt01I would say that a fishing resort in Thailand is quite the luxury..
@CymruCelt01 He did own the resort, he just lost it over covid as it was bought up.
Your dad sounds like a legend
Im the dad and the story is true. But i like fishing more than im an expert
Cracking start, is there a more detailed video about the Norwegian Cod on fishflix please?
Do you mean the usual Norwegian cod or the migratory ones we see here called Skrei?

Martin Rehook bowler has no shame.
Wonderful footage, wonderful fish, wonderful tackle you are using, but if you stick your fingers under the Gill plate the fish will probably die

Good grief, what a kipper!
I'm afraid that I almost fell asleep during this, all talk and music no fishing
Went to check out your amazing videos, but no content 😂😴😴😴
snorefest - unless they are for food leave these fish alone I'd say.
It was so boring haha
