Writing the steps here for those who had a hard time viewing it due to being recorded in portrait mode. Hope this helps! 1. Add text of choice to Canva canvas 2. Change font color to white 3. Add a yellow rectangle about the size of the text, a little bigger. Move the rectangle below the text layer 4. Save image as JPEG (quality :100). This will only work if saved as a JPEG. Do NOT save as a PNG. (At least, this is what worked for me. When I saved as PNG, "remove background" didn't work) 5. Upload the saved image to Canva, delete elements used in steps 1-4, and add the saved image to canvas 6. Change background of canvas to black 7. Use "Remove Background" feature on the image of text on yellow rectangle (setting is found under "edit photo" when clicking on the image 8. Under elements, look up "(color) glitter" IE: "pink glitter" and add the glitter image to the canvas, putting it beneath the text 9. Change the background of the canvas to match the same yellow color used in the yellow rectangle in Step 3 10. Save image as JPEG (quality :100). This will only work if saved as a JPEG. Do NOT save as a PNG. 11. Add recently saved image to canvas and Use "Remove Background" feature
Excellent job! Thank you for breaking this down so well. This saved me so much time. So thankful to you. Wishing you all the best and thank you again!!!❤🙏
You're welcome, blair. Yeah, i also hope for it. For easy and quick fill, you can use ready-to-use text frame, but there are only 1 or 2 font only. I made this trick so i can use any font to be filled. Anyway, thank you for watching. Have a good day
Can't see half the things you're clicking as you've used a thin portrait mode to video this. For ex can't see which file type you save the text as initially as well as a few other vital things that one needs to click on to actually follow the steps. So got lost in the process. Might be better if you re-do this as a normal wide screen.
but in large amount of font. if you have trouble of erasing it after covered around the glitter text with yellow, you can add Shadow-glow in 2:51 . use a little size/ofset like 0.2 , color: black, blur: 0.2

Thanks for reporting it. Please try remove.bg to remove background, or you can also use Capcut.
