They're not extremely different. Both obesity and morbid obesity significantly increase your chances of developing pretty much every non-infectious disease (cancer, diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, etc.).

@@user-vg5zx4lx8m bulimia isnt just purging through puke. theres also exercise bulimia and starvation bulimia. for the former, they basically exercise SO intensely for so long that they burn off every calorie theyve eaten. for the latter, though it sounds like its just anorexia, you still binge. you just "make up" for the binge by not eating for two days.

Not many people really understand that overeating to a more harmful degree is usually due to emotional issues. So just stating the obvious or being insulting doesn't help at all. I've seen it happen, and it usually pushes people into more disordered eating (whether it's over-consumption or under-consumption) because issues that last for years need professional help to manage and take control over.
