One month ago I hit a small jackpot at WELLS FARGO. I asked if they had any crisp straps. Teller said "only crips bills we have now are $1s....we have 10 straps."
"Could I possibly have all 10 of them?"
"Sure no problem" he says.... meanwhile I think the 10 straps will just be routine straps that are fairly crisp.
After one minute he brings them to the counter and to my shock it was a FULLY UNOPENED BRICK OF 10 NEVER USED STRAPS OF $1s STRAIGHT FROM THE BEP...the brick was still sealed in plastic (as they are at the BEP). In all my 30 years of collecting currency, I had never even laid eyes on a still-sealed-in-plastic BRICK of 10 straps of super-crisp new currency. I plan to keep it in its current form of a $1000 brick then sell it a few years from now.
