What I really want are more stratagems to spend req slips on. They keep releasing one or two here and there, but everyone and their mother has 50k saved by now.
for dif 9 enjoys, sure. the rest of us at lower levels already putting up with dif 9 sized spawns, no, not looking forward to it at all, esp with reduced magazine sizes and counts.
I 100% think that the AH will introduce the Illuminant to the playerbase by having them invade missions on BOTH the Automaton and Terminid fronts. Imagine you're just playing theough a normal ICBM mission, and then all of a sudden you hear: "Unidentified Craft entering battlefield!" and suddenly be fighting an entirely new enemy. I think theyll do this for the cool factor, and to familiarize the playerbase to the Illuminant and their tactics - and after a week, have the full Illuminant force come in from the Meridian black hole and gain a foothold in the South.

i think if they decide to change assisted reloads 1. be its own keybind/button input to not conflict with healing a teammate 2. could potentially be holding interact and reload at the same time to add a secondary button input needed to do it 3. make it so as long as one of the 2 players in the assist has ammo, the weapon can be reloaded 4. could even be part of the backpack use button (where you can resupply yourself) where you open yourself up to a team reload. and your character says "i need a team reload" allowing someone to come and snap onto you. for the fourth one here that button doesn't see much use unless you're running the resupply backpack and you're consuming your own supply, so it could be a good change to get more use out of the button/keybinding.
the meridia black hole is an opportunity for so much, if the illuminates can come through into our universe, who's to say a DLC can't help helldivers in the future to go through and conquer that area of the universe
Squids are just going to be everywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if they act like a side objective where they could be on a bug planet in there own little corner
the lights from the black hole could be hawking radiation... and if a black hole emits enough hawking radiation it'll lose mass and eventually explode.

I feel like the Illuminate will originally appear at Meridia, FTL to the south, but commence operations all over the map. They control sectors where the bots and bugs do, but have their own section too.
i get why they do "team reload," they base the game mechanic on real life experience from their time in the army. Some weapons require 2 people to be efficient but i think there should be a 3rd option where you have to stop, set up your back pack in a reload friendly mode and you have to break it back down to put it back on your back and keep moving. It would allow a faster reloading by yourself but at the cost of mobility, yet not as fast team reloads.
been thinking the same thing about backpack reloads, it's a cool mechanic I WANT to engage with, but I'm not going to give up my personal shield to reload one out of three teammates for them, while they get to have a cool shield backpack instead AND get the speedloading from me. it just ain't fair or fun chief.
Ok here's my thoughts on the squids coming based on what has been leaked so far: They come through the worm hole Spread out across the galaxy appearing in both Bot and Bug territories Eventually settle to the south of the map
Keeping an eye out for them squiddies 🦑 I thought we would get hive lord / warlord first but maybe that’s after illuminate come in to get us back to playing bugs/bots a bit
They need a non mission activity while you wait for friends or clansman in mission. Ship/station overwatch from the glalatic map mission selection lets you have a live version of a mission map of a squad in a mission you have voice comms and map/radar pings. Your the eyes in the sky watching over them.
🦑🦑🦑🦑I feel that the illuminate might take over bug planets to harvest E-710 for their war efforts and there would be some sort of mission taking out their farms. But I'm not an expert.

Bummer that the Illuminates might come the weekend AFTER the vast majority of the player base has an extended weekend due to the US holiday. Would have been fun to have a 3 day weekend to fight the new enemy.
I'm thinking this new faction is gonna be a Different version of Illuminate like how the Automaton's where the cyborg's and the Tyrranids where the bugs they also all played similar to their counter parts but looked and sounded very different with some gameplay changes I think we are either Gonna get a Darker Version of the Illuminate or a Completely Different faction all together that is a low possibility but i think would be sick if they did but considering all the leaks of different Illuminate enemy's its probably a no but ya never know they surprise us often...
I'm very new to the game, currently lv15. I have almost 700sc, and I can't decide if I should unlocked steeled veterans or the viper commandos first. Because I want that fire shotgun.. but the viper armor seems extremely OP. First off, it's a super fast light armor. And having more movement seems much more important than armor in this game, esp against the bugs. I heard heavy armor is bugged too, so it's not even worth it. On top of the light armor stats, it has the weapon aim being far snappier. I really like how sluggish the aim feels at times. That you have to aim with the circle etc. Really gives some heft to the aim. But, having this armor seems like having a super power. So yeah ... I think I will go for the armor first. But I wish I could get the shotgun too
Im guessing illuminate forces will spread out hence they will be everywhere and slowly attempt to weaken the sides as it pushes toward super earth. also fits with the illuminate being leagues stronger then us currently, the story could be explained like this without some random "they forgot where super earth is!" or something like that to cover us from instantly losing from instant illuminate invasion as they would be spread out and weaker but stronger the closer they get (concentrating forces unless too many squids died for the undemocratic cause) I love writing theories in comments honestly.

Yea I found the grenade pistol isn’t super effective against bots. It’s next to impossible to get a fabricator and unless you get a direct hit on an automaton it will do nothing. Somewhat effective against devastators but I found the desert eagle more effective as a secondary for bots.
Can anyone tell me if they have upped the difficulty Our 3-man team were playing on level 6 last night. We kept getting our butt's kicked by so many chargers and bile titans per level. It just seems to have gotten more difficult.
We've missed out on the anti tank mines three times now Am I the only one that wants these, everybody's ready for the illuminant people don't even know they were the worst ones to fight in the first game nobody would fight them it was worse than the automatons
Quite a few people know this already but just in case, meridia did not turn into a black hole. Whatever it is, we made something else and it's probably not good.
🦑 🦑 maybe the black hole is being used to send in infiltrators and spies so then they could set up a beachfront towards the south and allow the entire armada to come up with little resistance. Having everything squeeze through the black hole would strategically not be the best idea because you have a chokepoint that makes you an easier target. Just my two cents 🦑🦑
Brother you need to change that loadout for the bots man lol you’re using a good loadout for bugs but you’re making things more difficult on yourself by using it on bots. Try the DCS/AMR combo it’s fantastic. 👌🏼oh and bring stuns, trust me they’re great. Stun a hulk and shoot the eye twice with the AMR and its gonzo!
I have to ardently disagree about the suggestion you think is a good idea for Team reloads. First off the whole point is that you are inconveniencing yourself a little bit because the reloads are such an advantage. It rewards team play so much. But apart from that you're going to be breaking the game because now every time someone else is firing a weapon that could be reloaded, you'll see a button prompt to reload them. That means you're going to have a bunch of people accidentally engaging for a team reload only to stop and then back off and it Will likely just infuriate people and result in less teamwork. It's going to be annoying. It's going to cause more bugs. Just be happy the way it is and get good. I would love to see more focus on how cool and awesome things are and less complaints about the way things are. For example, I dropped into a game with the heavy machine gun and my God that thing is now a beast against bots.
I believe the Illuminate will pour in from Meridia and settle their forces down south. However, I also believe there’s going to be a gap up North that’ll beg the question “who’s next?”

The viper commandos warbond is brilliant. It's made the game so much more immersive, especially on the swamp planets.

Team reload v3.0 you can reload from the gunner's pack and your own if you're carrying the right pack.
Double reload speed + double ammo
