- Jets took to the skies above Tahrir Square to perform aerial manoeuvres for crowds below who supported the ouster of former President Mohamed Morsi. Egypt remains mired in turmoil as opponents and supporters of Morsi continue to demonstrate in the streets after his removal.

Egyptian Army is the oldest army in the history !
thats a myth about the army controlling economy, its that the army has its own investments which has nothing todo with the civil economy, and it was built from ground up by the military, and it no where near 1/3 of economy, though its enough to make the egyptian army economically independent, which exactly what US and EU hate, the west want the egyptian army to be weak, cause they know it is the greatest "threat" to "israel", but weakening the egyptian army is simply impossible.

we all know the egyptian military is very independent and US treat them with respect "they are forced to" cause simply gaining the egyptian army as an ally is more of a US need that it is for the egyptian army, even CC told that to the US, that they are the ones who need to keep the aids more than we are, the day aids stop, peace treaty is halted, and mass troops will freely deploy in sector C of sinai
