I own a 2017 model. I have no problem keeping up with traffic or driving on a highway. I’ve had mine up to 90 mph. I dive mine from my off grid property over a to a few other towns and cities sometimes to get supplies. 47mpg never any worse the 43.
That rules. My dad has a Subaru Impreza and he can touch on 40mpg. Once I rode in that, I was hooked on fuel efficient cars, and this is the top of the pack.
I love my Mirage. I can give less than a shit if it isn't fast or flashy or high tech.It takes me everywhere I need to go.Anytime! If a car isn't good for that.Thats on you haters n critics.
Dude the 2022 carbon edition looks great. Worst you can say about this car is that it's ugly, but that problem has been solved. I hope you enjoy many thousands of miles trouble-free. Those people with the fancy cars - they don't actually own them.
The Traction Control (ESP System) is an anti-skidding program that Mitsubishi Pioneered in the early 1990s, it eventually became standard equipment in Canada and the US in 2013 on all new cars and trucks along with ABS Brakes, I had a Mirage and it was a great value low-cost motoring vehicle that offers more than meets the eye! great car I miss mine!
yeah I saw a video where Mitsubishi was very proud to have pioneered the traction control system that's now standard across the nation and elsewhere. My "stabilitrack" in the truck is based on the same idea, and it honestly works so well the truck doesn't let me have any fun in the snow. Only quipped the back end out like a handful of times this winter, and not for lack of trying!
@@sleeksilver the rating was "Marginal", which yes means poor. But that's the most vicious test and hardest to pass. In all other categories it did perfectly well. Knee airbags are a big deal because you have arteries in your legs that are super important, and the new ones have them. It's just as safe as any other non-large car.
@@KF1 no, it got a "Poor" which means poor. ua-cam.com/video/K1BGtbKOAOM/v-deo.html It is not just as safe as every other car in its class, it performed the worst. Literally every single other option has performed better on the small overlap, even the Spark.
@@bloodforfeit4756 The only problem is the 165 65 r14 Dunlop Enasaves or Firestone Potenzas llr tires they come with are an odd ball size and very expensive. The Dunlops are $137 a tire! I switched over to 175 65 r14 Barrum Brillantis2 tires for $37 a pop, hardly any difference in mpg and it was within the 3% size variance a lot of installers adhere by so no tire rub.

I find it funny how you don't realize Android auto and Apple car play is standard on all trims since 2020
Perfect car
I like it 👍
Is this the grey or dark grey version?

Did anyone else notice that the back doors have manual roll down windows and the front doors have power windows 🤔
That was the old ones. The ones from 2016 and beyond have PW on all four doors.
I didn't notice that at first!
Power windows in front and manual windows in the back..Less parts to wear out.
@@stevensmith8648 these are actually called the C21 which have the manual windows. the C23 has full power Windows along with some other stuff
Does it have park assist, lane keep assist, or emergency braking? How many airbags does it have?
It has seven airbags. No park assist but has that new pedestrian braking standard. It is a safe car because i own one.
No, but you can repair it without permission from Misubishi.

I'd go drive the higher end model if it had a manual. The base 14" wheels, too small.
This is an ideal commuter, not a car to take around the track. Those tires will be more affordable to replace when the tread wears out

This thing can barley make it onto the highway 😭😂
