I drove the Tillotson T4 for their World championship (Nations Cup) this year an ended up P6 in their junior class with pace to be P1. I was number 225, its on their UA-cam channel
@@rolfingkarting u could rent a kart and inscribe for about 1200-1500€ I think. In Spain we don't have nationals yet but I think that it is a way to qualify, anyways u can just inscribe and race. Write to their email and they'll tell u about everything u need to know
@@fan-n1-yosoi Eso es en el mundial, en tu país depende. En España lo q más interesa es comprarse el coche e ir yendo a carreras. Pero otra vez, depende de como sea en tu país
Chassis made by Praga karts, so a good thing. Drove a T4 package early in 2022 at a test day. Lots of different drivers got a steer of it, no set up changes were made just fuel added and chain lubed through the day. Drivers ranged from brand new drivers upto Bathurst 1000 (supercar) drivers with a lot of different weights in the kart through the day. I was happy to finish 2nd fastest of the day, behind a Professional driver who started in this years Bathurst 1000, he was 20 years younger then me and 20 kg lighter then me, bugger beat me by 0.3 of a second. Was happy with that.
Goed bezig! Ben samen met mijn 10-jarige zoon je kanaal aan het leeg kijken :) Erg leuk. En en passant leert ie ook nog eens Engels. Petje af voor je beheersing van de Engelse taal trouwens.
@redexions do you think Tillotson mini is a good class for a 9 year old to to begin with, after a year of weekly rental driving and lessons. Or is cadet the best place to start. The equality of Tillotson seems appealing. Unfortunately, we are located in the very south of the Netherlands and there seem to be no tillotson races in Belgium, more choice for cadet 9hp below Eindhoven.
L206 is only 9hp 50mph. T4 on a dyno can be 17hp and 60mph plus. 7k costs but 4k is the kart, under 3k is the running cost of the season. So you still own a €4000 kart at the end. €3000 for the whole season is dirt cheap.
Several second quicker than an LO206 around most tracks due to having 50% more horsepower. The tires are harder and less grippy though, so they can be relatively close around tighter tracks. It's also cheaper than LO206 (with a more consistent supply of engines), so I think it will probably become more popular than LO206 in most areas.
het bedrag dat je per jaar kwijt bent is bijna gelijk! ID engines is misschien iets duurder. ID iets van 7000-8000 per jaar en tillotson 6000-7000 hoop dat je er wat aan hebt

Are you able to share some details on the cost? Also did you have to do a national championship first to gain access?

U also can qualify for the Nations Cup by winning their esports series on Rfactor 2

Really? Praga karts? I thought they would use some no-name European chassis manufacturer, not a top-tier brand!
i race this class (junior) in the UK and its the best kart i have raced and as you said very equal and the budget to race is good very fair racing.
I thought it was just a Danish thing how much does it cost per season?
How much was that it
Happy Christmas and New year to you and yours,
Aido
Bram, I’m looking forward to racing with you at next years nations cup

Tliotson T4 is not that new, but its also really popular in the UK
It’s new in the Netherlands
I want to start gokart racing, is holland a good country to do this in or are there better countries in Europe for tilitson t4 racing ?

Looks like attempt to bring LO206 like class from North America to Europe. It is probably the most popular here in Canada and US.

Karting should of always been this way .
Y is the logo thingy in white river
Looks a little bit like the LO206 which they race in North America.

The Tillotson is starting to gain a foothold here in Southern California through Troy Adams and Adams Motorsports Park
The t4 is quicker then the Briggs, drove both on the same day with the same tyres..
Who are you buying the T4 from in the USA?
@@flyingphoenix113 it is NOT cheaper than the lo206. Lo206 is 600$ race ready. Tillotson is right around 1000$ U.S.
What size rims for the rear are for a junior rotax .
Good video
does Tillotson T4 have any races in India?
Does India have any tracks for karts ?
How does this kart compare cost-wise to the id-engined kart ? I couldn't find any concrete numbers for both manufacturers

Yooo
Now how to make this take off in the US?
