Fun fact (in my opinion): If you keep collecting stickers without completing the album, the chances of getting a duplicate will be low. That means, you can complete it without getting any duplicates (Works with seasonal ones too)
Hmm.. I am closing only albums then when I have collected all stickers and I can tell you for sure that it isn't like you described :)) I get a loooot of dublicates :))
