You do the Dobie Gray version justice, and believe me, that is high praise. Matty's lead is incredible, and Zkye is the perfect compliment to that. Zkye, you are awesome; your harmonies are spot on, and you have a gift of knowing exactly how much amplitude to use. Very impressive! This is one of the six songs I would have to have on a deserted island. Well done!

I continue to come back to Sing it Live they are the ultimate professionals and Darren is superb in picking artists for each and every song, I have not been disappointed once. As a 73 year old with a keen ear and a diverse appreciation of music from the 60's to 80's music you know good covers, these guys along with Post Modern Jukebox are a must listen to for sheer talent.

Close your eyes and you're back in the early seventies (1973, if memory serves) - with yet another masterfully melodic musical memory from Darren's Desperadoes - and once again trouncing that other lot from Hindley Street in the process. All you have to ask is "How do they do it..?" Week after week wonderfullimusicalitousness...
Stefan owns the notes and gives them to us with class. The whole presentation is beyond exceptional. But those PRSs!!!! Coming from a dyed in the wool since the 1960’s Fender player those things SPEAK to me - especially in the hands of these fine musicians.
Fantastic rendition of one of my favorite songs. Perfect for Matty's voice. I especially loved being able to hear Damien's bass during the hand clap section :) Nice that Stefan let Matty rip that little solo too! As others have said, you perfectly captured the vibe of the Dobie Gray version.
Zkye is such an amazing professional. A super talent on her own, takes the back seat to let others shine. Her generosity and love for music brings polish to the final product.
