Got the 2010 1.4 petrol. Still going strong in 2024, only issue I've had was a clutch slave cylinder change at 50k miles due to water ingress. £40 later and 20 minutes of my time and fixed, job done. Gets around 36mpg with mostly motorway trips. Quite a bit of body roll around corners. Doesn't burn oil with oil change every 10k miles. Wish I'd got the diesel instead but still happy. 🚗
Have a 2011 Kia rio LX. So far it many issues. Will sua the parts are really cheap and it's mostly easy to maintain. It's not theodt comfortable car but it's accomplishes it's main function which is to be fuel efficient and go from point A to B.

I owned a 2005 kia rio LX hatchback petrol. I can't understand why this model in your video was alot smaller. It doesn't make sense. But the kia I had was great and reliable but considering I bought mine in 2007 when it was only 2 years old and I never see any of the model I owned on the road today.
A very underrated car. Simple, reliable, cheap and easy to work on.

Underrated car the 1.5 Crdi is so powerful and smooth fantastic I still drive my Kia Rio mk2 pre facelift in 2023 I love the 90s vibe from it
