Props to Kenny Pickett for the fastest rule change in college sports history
@@aidansateren5045 no, that's entirely why the rule was changed. Nobody should be subjected to targeting call
@@aidansateren5045 lol that's awesome. fair is fair in war. but the attorneys are the ones with the clout here, can't be obviously unsafe/concussions could end football altogether if they are not careful.
I dont understand why ball carriers are allowed to straight arm to the facemask of the defender .... just saying
The best trick play of the season was thinking that Texas would actually be back
Bro as a Texas fan, this pains me. We are like the Lakers and I don’t like that
@@jphighlightss Texas: TeXaS iS bAcK!!!
November 6, 2021: Texas, 7; Iowa State, 30
😂🤣
Michigan and Michigan State rivals even in trying more trick plays than the other
One had Kenneth Walker, and the other had Hassan Haskins. It would be a missed opportunity if they _weren't_ both running flea-flickers up and down the field.
Good job. I appreciate the amount of work that went into putting this together.
you're a legend for all the G5 teams & clips you include
8:42... no one actually fell for it lmao Sac St. just weren't able to stop it
@@TnD_BigJax Pay attention to #7. He reacted late when South Dakota State snapped
@@aidansateren5045 agreed, it appears that Sac State was ranked #4 in the FCS at the time. You don’t get ranked that high by being bad.
One of THE best college football compilation vids I ever watched...that was FUN !!!!
Great vid. Can you do a failed trick plays compilation? That might be pretty funny
Ok that Purdue double reverse screen is maybe the greatest play design I've ever seen
A lot of linemen need to be recognized for most of these plays.....outstanding blocks
Linemen, recognized by someone besides their teammates? lmfaoooo gtfo man, never happens
College football is definitely more exciting than the NFL
Literally chills.
Love this type of play.
Would love to see more of this in the nfl
Glad to see Michigan State had more highlights than lowlights
Excited for the new season
I don’t think there is enough of this in any football league! Football would be so much more fun to watch if teams would do a little razzle dazzle like these guys!
because it rarely works vs good teams. Too many chances to drop the ball and/or get sacked for huge loss.
Razorback here. 1:08 ..not the greatest pass ever by the punter (holding here) but we made bama sweat a little at Tuscaloosa. This time we get em at Fayetteville.
Go Hogs 🐗🐗🐗
Gus Johnson, Sean McDonough, & Joe Davis 📢🔥🔥🔥.
Pickett cracked the code so hard, rule change happened right after.
I gotta watch this again.
I think Michigan Star likes the flea-flicker… Counter: 3
Glad to see you brother!! Hope all is well!!
Michigan State had so many trick plays that worked
Pickett's last stand, slide, stand, whatever, was a long time coming since there was nothing on the books to penalize a smart QB. I had thought about that fake slide potential a few weeks earlier, but figured the loop hole was closed or someone would be doing it. Now he's in the books like a few dozen others with their own rule lol
A truly once-in-a-lifetime play. Never done before successfully at that level of football and isn't legal to be repeated.
12:35 I knew y’all were going to add that Ole Miss play. That was some interesting play calling by Kiffin.
THIS is why, personally, I prefer watching college football over pro.
Still think my favorite came from Valdosta State in the D2 finals in 2018 (bias as a VSU alum)
Backup QB could also run and catch so he was lined up as a receiver. Snapped the ball like an end around but before he got to the line of scrimmage he through it downfield diagonally to the starting QB for a touchdown. I think it was a 50 yard throw not counting diagonal.
Guys, Here is The Savior
YaH The Heavenly FATHER HIMSELF was Who they Crucified/Pierced for our sins and “HERE IS THE PROOF”
From the Ancient Egyptian Semitic:
"Yad He Vav He" is what Moshe (Moses) wrote, when Moses asked YaH His Name (Exodus 3)
Ancient Egyptian Semitic Direct Translation
Yad - "Behold The Hand"
He - "Behold the Breath"
Vav - "Behold The NAIL"
I love seeing my Jackrabbits in the thumbnail!!
The 1st play pure magic
these are all fun to watch - but all of these plays have been around a long time.. flea flicker, jump pass, double reverse.. I AM 128 years old and I saw Harvard use all of those against the Eli's in the Yale Bowl in '21- NINETEEN 21!
Now the old 23 Skidoo.. THAT was a trick play!
Great video, dude. Some of these plays were flat out lucky and dumb, but that's not your fault 😂
For this year's list, you gotta include the Boise State hook and Ladder and the double reverse fleeflicker that North Dakota pulled against Northern Arizona earlier tonight on the final game winning drive. 9/17/2022
Thats what my utes did great at, big plays right before halftime to kill the momentum and moral of the other team
Even the Running Backs out there flinging the ball 50 yards!
That Michigan trick play against Iowa was outstanding
I was there in person for it it was so awesome. The way Edwards was carrying it it looked like he might throw. Then as soon as he put his arm back I looked downfield and saw Wilson wide open. All us Michigan fans were going nuts before he even threw it 🤣
11:00 I've never liked this play, when the QB gives up or slides the defense is required to give up and not hit the QB, for the safety of the QB. Which I agree with, but when you fake giving up and run. Just doesn't feel right to me.
seen so many people penalised for hitting a QB in a slide yet this is allowed? Double standards if you ask me. If this became a common move then you are going to get a lot of QBs hit and people claiming that "I thought it was a fake he has history"
By far the, the Purdue play was the most intricate of them all.
Flea flickers are a dime a dozen.
Man I can't wait for football season this summer shit sucks
5:14. Peep me kneeling by the goal post filming Zay get into the end zone
That Philly Special is pretty hard to beat
11:07 Fake the slide was made an illegal play the week afterward ... I think it's now a 10-yard penalty from the spot of the foul.
Had they not made such a ruling, any quarterback that does this would get killed by the defense the next time they faked a slide.
Exactly. If I'm on defense when that happens, he's getting absolutely buried next time he runs it. Helmet to the chest and aim for the far pylon. "My bad, thought he was gonna fake it again. Can't take chances." It's ok to take liberties, but understand that freedom comes with consequences.
It is really unsportsmanlike conduct. If a QB is sliding, the defense must let up and not go in for the tackle. So if you are faking it, you are making the defense disengage, because you are sliding. So an unfair advantage. Without this rule, defense would have to just hit the QB if they think he is sliding, because he might be faking it. And then they would get a flag. So the defense loses either way.
@@jiminauburn5073 Totally agree with you. As a matter of fact, that was exactly my first thought, unsportsmanlike conduct when I watched that play. Some guys referred to it as 'being intelligent'. The nerve!
You need to do the the Top 10 or 25 Best Moments or the 2021 CFB Season. Maybe I’m a little biased but I would love to see where you would rank McKenzie Milton’s return.
So a double reverse flea flicker screen nice
THIS WAS INTERESTING.............
UCLA vs AZ was a nice play I was there
As an Iowa fan, watching this has hurt my soul.
The fake slide is a sneaky play, but afterward the QB deserves every hit he gets.
Watch out for stray dogs in the end zone.....the Purina checkerboard attracts them every game.
Why wasn't the one Pitt had against Tennessee in here ? The fake slide is here even though I wouldn't necessarily call it a trick play it was more quick thinking
The one guy meant to make the tackle in the South Dakota State play at 8:48 was the only one who was fooled and I find that hilarious.
Way to finish with the gamecocks!!, glad I watched the whole video!!
Purdue football this year was WILD
All these plays are pretty tricky
Glad to see Sparty got four representations here.
you should do worst effort attempts of 2021
11:09 Fake slide is unsportsmanlike. They came up with "QB slide" to protect the QB, and he's taking advantage of their respect for QB's special status.
Michigan State found some secret to running the flea flicker, never seen that play result in as many touchdowns as they had with it this season.
11:22 "Hits him with the *High voice* fake sliiiide" lol
Fake the slide was made an illegal play the week afterward ... I think it's now a 10-yard penalty from the spot of the foul.
Had they not made such a ruling, any quarterback that does this would get killed by the defense the next time they faked a slide.
Cool
Loved it all, except the fake slide. That's dirty.
Flea flicker: exists
Mel Tucker: yes
Pitt vs Wake game where the QB faked a slide is exactly why I hate the calls resulting in additional yards for so called tackling too hard. When he started to slide, the defense held back.
Some of these trick plays would have failed miserably if not for the incredible athleticism of the players.
Oh man I bet Saban was livid about the fake field goal by Arkansas lol.
3:03 ref signaled touchdown before he was even in the endzone haha
Arkansas managed to be 2 for 2 on trick plays vs Alabama and still lost
MSU was Flea Flicker U in 21 😂
That dude on Navy definitely forgot they were doing the trick play
EA sports take notes we want trick plays in ncaa23
6:33 I wonder if this will be a penalty under the new Kenny Pickett rule.
Where were Nova and Holy Cross playing? West Mifflin Area High School?
(7:10) BEST TRICK!!! Look at the SCORE BOARD.
not sure if the one at 1:10 would have worked if #2 on the defense wasn't blocked by the ref lol
He caught it past the marker awhile before the ref blocked him but I know what you mean. Still would’ve “worked” even if it wasn’t a TD
5:15 Illegal snap... or at least it is in my league. "... snapping between his legs in one continuous motion" is the wording in my rule book. Wonder what it is in the US College league.
Flee flickers are like almost not trick plays at this point
That first play I've thought that would be a good play. But I wasn't sure if it was a legal play
Biggest surprise here is that Holy Cross is still playing football.
Tulane had a successful fake punt that was a pass for good yardage. Unfortunately, we threw a pick on the next play. :/
3:51 GO DAWGS BABY!!!!!!!!!! ❤️🖤💯💍🏆🏈🐶
I will never understand how corners and safeties allow receiver separation on "Flea Flicker" plays. What happens behind the line should have zero effect on downfield coverage. Bet, it often does, which is why those plays sometime work.
I hate that i was a witness at the games to two of my teams being fooled. Youngstown State and Buffalo. smh
If no announcer ever again says "trickeration" it'll be too soon.
Fun to see Alabama on the wrong end of a few of them...
Every game at least 3 overtimes
Michigan sure ran their share of trick plays.
Same with Michigan State. But the Spartans’ were probably better.
Go Wolverines!
@7:28 Why did SDSU go for 2 in 3 OT when the score was 31-31???
Note to all coaches: tell your players not to slow down/celebrate until...well inside the endzone!!!! Note: this "warning" is for all those that play as well (2 way street).
Longhorns always gettin tricked; never doing the trickin
i miss cfb already
I like it how none of the announcers know it's called "philly special"
Which was your favorite?
The first one
UTEP was the worst
Arkansas Fake FG against Bama
The Michigan vs Iowa one
Kenny Pickett
