Our Intimate Bollywood Proposal - Mitra and Rakhi

- Our story: Rakhi and I have been dating for a little over 4 years and over the past 2 years, we would constantly get into arguments about when I would propose to her. Because I wanted it to be a complete surprise, I would tell her that I am not ready yet and laugh when she unloaded her frustration on me. When i finally bought a ring, I had to plan the perfect cover story to keep her from suspecting foul play. As a medical resident who applied for a cardiology fellowship, MATCH day is the day we find out where we matched for our fellowship and this day was two days after our proposal, therefore Rakhi came to Columbus, OH thinking we would be celebrating me instead of her. My sisters and their friends took her out for a spa day where a limo picked them up and brought them to our location while we prepared... and the rest is in the video :)

To my sister's friends (Richa, Aneesha, Madison, Reshma) - For buying me time all day, taking Rakhi out in a Limo and keeping her occupied all day (not an easy task for my nosy fiance) and for being the best hype squad a couple could have.
