Yes, finally we'll have a place to cheer for our team. I never like the fact that I had to go to NJ to see a NY team (of course no offense to NJ) or that we had to use baseball stadiums (although thanks to Citifield and Yankees because they gave us the chance to have games there). Everyone with a team should have a stadium in their hometown so any celebration is more fun.
Go move to a communist country please. You’re mad at someone that you don’t know for spending their own money on their business smh . Yea sure let’s just give it away to the homeless and enable them even more. This country is about capitalism even though it’s being ripped apart from the inside by socialist scum. That stadium will open up the doors with plenty of jobs from building it ground up and operating it once it’s built. Those homeless people you’re “worried” about, can go apply for jobs at the new stadium.
It’s gonna be privately funded. No taxpayer money will be used. That’s how most major venues are funded now. UBS Arena (1.1 billion) Climate Pledge Arena (1.15 billion) , SoFi Stadium (5.5 billion) were all privately funded.
Don't build things because people get ill, develop bad habits, dont want to work, make bad decisions, ect. Even if all our money goes to helping other's they need to help themselves too.
Awesome news! I’ll definitely go to watch some games.
