I think Biden should step down voluntarily before he is forced to step down. He is too old to lead for another term as POTUS. There is no shame in admitting that you are past the prime age, and let the younger ones take the reigns.

The country is in the midst of a racist conservative takeover. Project 2025 is a real threat. I respect and love the man, but it's like looking at your grandfather slowly deteriorating.
Depends if you want a messy floor fight or not. If he get’s the nominee and then a Parkinson’s diagnosis occurs, then he’s incapacitated and the DNC committee can replace at their pleasure.

Oh man. It's Not that Complicated. Just say: The in-party politics will never change post-nomination. Those nominantions usually follow sealed deals with deligates and their lobbysts and donors. Period. Those political and financial deals are done, far far done. It cannot change.

Your choice is not easy one to make, do you do the decent thing for your country and put him out to grass or do you stick with him hoping that the "out of the blue" sudden state funeral doesn't happen two weeks before the election.
The democratic politician is on the horns of a dilemma, do you dump him like your brain is screaming at you to do, or do you think, if I show disloyalty, I'll be toast so maybe it will be better for me not say anything, I'll keep schtum. But, if you keep schtum and he gets dumped you now look weak and ineffective. Ouch!
Here in Great Britain, we have watched hundreds of years of "Royal" rulers who were mad, often when they were still quite young, we know what to look for and our press has been pointing out your man's degeneration for over ten years now. Yes, even in Obama's time it was noticeable, go back and watch his footage and weep.
We have a saying that a week is a long time in politics and you have about ten weeks to convince your now alarmed and increasingly skeptical electorate that Biden is 100% fit and mentally capable to run a country that is facing incredibly difficult times over at the very least, the next five years or so.
Can you realistically adapt to sudden change like a professional soldier, see your problem clearly and provide a way forward that not only solves the problem but that puts you back in a position of strength and power.
Think, hitting the ground running.
Every day you waste coming to what should be your obvious decision then the harder it will become and failure will be your likely outcome.
If you fail you will expose your country to a dynasty of your unstable stable genius's progeny ruling your country with advisors like the sinister stephen miller for years to come, is that what you want for your country?
