Came to here to hear this masterpiece now that the show has ended. Not happy with it, but I still think I'm satisfied with it. They way it ended reminded me of life itself, which often happens to be bittersweet and painful at times, and as adults, we are meant to accept it and deal with it. There is aftermath, though. Now, aftermath comes for Jon. At least for me, this show was the greatest I've ever seen. Its characters will endure in the memories of the ones who somehow got involved by its story. Yeah it is a representation of life. If the writers were serious they coulve followed the genius GRRM and made a fucking masterpeice. But they decided to be lazy fucks and fucked up. Its a representation of what NOT to do in life.
I wouldn't mind a sad ending but the two authors pretty much performed character assassinations... Tyrion was the bad guy in the end, picking a new king at his own trial? This story dropped so many important "rules" it boggles my mind.. the only thing that made me feel better was watching youtube videos explaining all the fk ups lol.
I cannot imagine how you manage to, frankly, 'cause it's SO absorbing. Pure melancholy and sweet sadness, despair and hope and inevitability. Salty of tears and fresh of snowflakes melting on one's cheeks.
I've listened to this fabulous video many times over throughout the year. It resonates so much deeper during the winter season. The hauntingly beautiful refrain of the Stark/Winterfell themes move me like no other.

I feel the need to share this. I've finally come to the last few months of my last year of IGCSE. My exams are supposedly in November, but the dates are ever changing because of Covid19. Its been a year and maybe 3 months, that I've been homeschooling, and I have said it before, its not always easy. This Channel has helped and supported me in ways I can never put to words. Last Thursday, I was working on my last English Assignment, hoping and praying for some kind of inspiration to help me though it. I was instructed to write 700 words, and usually, I'd be glad with that, excited to write, and even scared to pass the word limit. But this time, for the life of me, I couldn't write. I was utterly stuck... And while I was listening to Ambient World's tracks, this came on. I was so moved and touched by every note and sound, that I just started to sob. But there, amidst the pain, I found it. I was finally inspired. And then I wrote my heart out... Looking back at the finished piece (720 words - the re edited version), I am so extremely proud of the work I have accomplished. I believe that it could even be the best short story I've written in a while. I know that I always say this, but I want to say, thank you. All of these pieces have changed me in ways I just can't explain. I cant possibly see what this year could have been like without Ambient World. Please know, that to some, this channel is a life line, a sanctuary, a happy place. I couldn't have been more inspired by your story of how this Channel was birthed. It all starts with that one step. Keep working wonders! I am profoundly grateful for all of it. And I also want to say how grateful I am for the community built around this channel, I've never felt more at home.
