Thanks to Kite Boss Chow Chong, owner of local kite store, Unique Flying Objects www.uniqueflyin... the city of Two Rivers; presenting Sponsors, Shoreline Credit Union and Fox Communities Credit Union; and those Wisconsin Kiters. Here's another look captured by friend and kiter, Kenny Cracraft: • Kites Over Lake Michig... Kite Festival

Yes. They usually get 30,000 - 40,000 over two days.

Very light winds on day one. Fairly light on day two. Windjammer did a great job!

Thanks Priscilla. Something for everyone. The beach was certainly packed.

Something for everyone Priscilla. There are enough kites among the kites to get the lightest of kites into the air. The blue green kite by Tony Killip goes up with very light winds.

Looks a great event. Pleased the wind returned and all those people could enjoy the kites and activies. Thank you again for your editing and video sharing. I was thinking how busy you have been attending events around your area. I guess the changing season will make for less events away.

You bet Carl. So much to capture and share. Next week I'm in the state of Illinois. I understand it'll be a very large grassy field pefe for flying large kites. Hope to get the Sutton 252 and/or Rieleit Foil up. Still awaiting a 100ft tail from Gomer Kites. Keep posting Carl. Winter will be here soon enough and I need to live vicariously through you!

Another interesting point of view. Good production values.

Thanks Glenn. Some of the stablization gets a little warbly as the auto-focus shifts on my camera. Drives me nuts.

Those Chinese Lanterns are great unless you're a Rural Firefighter in Beef country where they dry out the corn before harvesting it & it gets fed the to the cattle!

Very nice. I have a question please if you can. I bought a 7m trilobite but no info about line strength. For low winds higher winds. And for 10m my next . Thanks much

Good question. I use 500lb line with my 16 sqm and 1,500lb line with my 65 sqm. For a 7 sqm I would guess 200lb line and 300lb for a 10 sqm.
