Thanks for another great Eurovision reaction season! Your videos are fun but still always have something sensible and insightful to say about each song. Hope you enjoy the contest this year, and good luck to all of you in the draft!
"Unicorn" has VERY meaningful lyrics! (This is my take as an Israeli, but as it is a work of art, it is open to different interpretations, so yours is valid as well! :)) Here are the main points to understand: The song is about the relations between Israel (The "I" in the song) and those who perceive her wrongfully as their enemy (The "You"). To all her neighboring countries, Israel stated time and time again "We are not your enemy!" (In the song "No, I'm not your enemy") Also, the fact that the Jewish ppl are originated from ancient Israel ("Do you want to check my DNA?"), and not a colonial foreign power, as falsely accused by its enemies. As you may know, There is a vicious cycle of violence going on in our region for more than a century that we must break and change ("History caught in a loop, Don't you wanna change it?"), cause Israel is attacked time and time again ("If you're gonna do it, don't do it", ) and is forced to respond. The music also contains elements of the Israeli national anthem - called "Hatikva" - The hope. One of the symbols of Unicorns is Hope and Success, and also strong healing powers. Notice also the colors in the Music Video, they are very meaningful as well! The ceiling is all-red, she wears all-black (Symbols of violence and grief) and switches to colorful outfits when she sings the Unicorn parts from black & white - Those parts represent the hopeful and successful future ("That I won't look back, I won't look down, I'm going up"). The fact that it's all upside-down! (Not a normal reality) They are all very symbolic! Hope all this helps to clarify the lyrics. 😊 Cheers and best of luck to Noa (Noa for the win! 🤞)! ✌
I think that this is Israel’s best entry since their win in 2018. I have to agree though that this unicorn stuff can be irritating at times. Nonetheless, I can see Israel doing well in Liverpool with a decent performance. I suppose that you won’t upload a reaction video on the Cypriot entry because of the copyright, so here’s what I think about their song: Not understanding, but a good track to listen to. One of the stronger songs of the second semifinal.
Im kinda surprised you all liked it! Thats nice. I dont like it cause (as a kpop fan) i would listen to songs like these a lot. But it is catchy lol specially the "phenomenal femininal" part. I finally caught up to your videos, i watched them while cleaning and cooking so thanks for the company. I will be waiting for the draft video!
Thank you so much for your reaction You spoke seriously about all important subjects (never let nuncence interrupt) Now that we saw a little bit of what is going to appears on stage I think we could all agree that most of our issues were resolved Love &all the best from Israel 🇮🇱🫶🇮🇱
For the animated music video: Slovenia 2022 (Disko) had a fully animated video, and that is the only one like it. Malta’s 2020 Junior Eurovision video was partly animated, but Slovenia’s is the only official Eurovision entry with an animated video.
In one of your last year’s reaction the girl holding that horse plush said , and I quote “ I don’t like over sexualized songs , women don’t need to use their bodies to sell songs “. It looks like she had a change of heart . Who doesn’t enjoy a plate of double standards 🤔🙄😤
At first I felt it was a little too disjointed - but I found just listening to the audio helped. The visuals only highlight that there are distinct and different parts to the song. And also, the actual unicorn metaphor… if most people would need to google what the powers of one are, then it’s a poor choice. Lastly, I personally don’t care for the phenomenal-femminemal line. It seems stupid. Having said all that, I do like the song and think it will qualify and place well. In fact I like it more than I should. In my top 10.
Belgium is there. Cyprus is always difficult because Panic records blocks basically any snippets of the songs. We recorded a reaction to it weeks ago but I am currently making my 8th attempt at editing it so it will pass the copyright bots. Fingers crossed!!!
With this one, I feel like the three songs it's trying to be at various points of the song don't blend well at all, unlike the three distinctly different parts of Aija or the two distinctly different parts of Cha Cha Cha. Also yes, somewhere along the line in production of the MV someone must have had the wrong idea of what a unicorn is vs. what a centaur is, and not one person corrected them.
I don't know if my automatic UA-cam translator translated well, but I think you ask about cartoons. I remembered Macedonia 2015 and their beautiful song "Autumn leaves" ua-cam.com/video/t8QCt6CJCHc/v-deo.html) There is also a live performance at Eurovision that used the following drawings as a background: Hungary 2013 ua-cam.com/video/UmjsIhihJMY/v-deo.html
Noa is professional and strives for perfection in her performances and this is very evident in her videos as well as in her performances. She is involved in all her content and she is not just a performer. ua-cam.com/video/InIRjIqPKt4/v-deo.html
Relax, Noa Kirel does have a great voice and dominant performance on stage in reality as well. However, the song itself wasn't accepted well in Israel. It doesn't mean that it won't be successful in the ESC; yet not phenomenally.
6:45 Not sure it is the place to do it. Why don't you focus on the really important things in a SONG at a eurovision contest (like vocals) and not in "unicorns are extincted", "wow a centar!", "I want this outfit" etc.
You _like_ Push the Button but think Toy is _bad_?? Jeez we must like opposite types of music. BTW - the phenomenal/feminine thing was a play on words (especially the way an Israeli would pronounce phenomenal in Hebrew/with an Israeli accent).
There are Ukrainian dances in this clip. They are dancers of Ukrainian singer Maruv with “Siren song” (Bang). I am impressed how everything Ukrainian became popular: Israel took Ukrainian dancers and Loreen copied the song of Ukrainian singer Mika Newton. What the hell is going on)))
Aaargh i cant wait to see her liveeeee, seen some of her live performances and she is PHENOMENAL!! ❤
I love this song😊 It's in my top 3 alongside Samo Mi Se Spava and My Sister's Crown!
Yes. But Serbia vocalist.on statem i dont see him. Vesna i hope better.
And Unicorn? On stage will be fire.
And she have good voice.
Phenomemal;)
My Sister's Crown is epic and heart breaking
@@przemekkuchnicki4239 I'm mainly talking about the songs, I actually don't like Vesna live😅
I think she is the winner this year
Amazing 🤩 ❤🥇

Perfect breakdown 💯💯💯
אהבתי את הפרשות, הלוואי והיה לה באמת קשר לשיר 😅
Also unicorn is a word for a startup company that worth a billion dollars or more and there are many start up companies in Israel and many unicorns
מאיפה הבאת את כל זה? לא נראה לי שדורון מדלי כל כך עמוק
That isn't at all the meaning, at least not one stated at all at any point by Noa or the writers.
Finally! Love your reaction ❤
Finally some love for Push the Button!
Glad you liked Unicorn
Finally people that appreciate this incredible singer and performer! Finland and Israel are my winners 💚 💙
Noa is amazing 🎉
The best song of all this year 🔝🔝🔝
My winner 👑👑👑👑
my #2 in the whole competition cannot wait for the actual show , i have a feeling it will be even better
LPS-Disko Slovenia 2022 Official music video is fully animated. 😊
Yes! Another one I remember is Germany 2003, Lou - Let's Get Happy
Her hand gesture is her horn, and she did it in the Centaur part as well… So she’s not a centaur, she’s a unicorn all the way! 😊
finally,a brain
winner vibes .
Go Girl💖🦄🇮🇱

Try noa kirel “hazi meshuga” deadly underrated and its one of all time best
Thank you for this amazing reaction! ❤️🔥🏆🦄
Thanks for reaction Unicorn.
Very late. But never ia too late.
Unicorn is great...so great.
I like your reactions guys. Good team💪👊
Song is PHENOMENAL
Funny entertaining reaction video - thank you! 🙂
Thank you so much for your reaction

Kinda interesting that you were positive about this even before it had started, but with Loreen you were extreeemely skeptical from the first second.
2nd last on my rankings. Glad you loved it :)
Are you going to doing a top 10 video as well?
In Israel , unicorns are successful tech start ups.
Winer 🇮🇱 🦄 🇮🇱
Well aren't you all full of surprises, I did not expect any of you to like this entry at all! 😆
You should record your reaction to the jury and televotes 😊
🇮🇱🩵😊
Gave you a thumbs up for Push the Button, such an underrated entry
Israel🇮🇱🇮🇱
The song doesn't bare deep analysis, but in a song contest, it will provide energy and impact. I do prefer Georgia myself.
So what do you think about Cyprus?
❤️
My 26th in my general ranking but I hope she can change that live.
In one of your last year’s reaction the girl holding that horse plush said , and I quote “ I don’t like over sexualized songs , women don’t need to use their bodies to sell songs “. It looks like she had a change of heart . Who doesn’t enjoy a plate of double standards 🤔🙄😤
And in addition we see a centaur and not a unicorn
Its in purpose. She doing the horn with her hand
To the nice mother who is quick to prejudice, Noa integrated both feminine and phenomenal into one word.
North Macedonia 2015 - had animated video, and was stunning
At first I felt it was a little too disjointed - but I found just listening to the audio helped. The visuals only highlight that there are distinct and different parts to the song.

Hahaha yeah, I kind of avoided talking about actual unicorn lore in the video, but it does make for an interesting interpretation of the song
A unicorn symbolizes uniqueness and something that is extraordinary. And it's also a symbol of power, honor, grace and respect.
How can this be the final reaction video? I see 34 reactions. There are 36 participating countries. Where is Belgium and Cyprus?
Belgium is there. Cyprus is always difficult because Panic records blocks basically any snippets of the songs. We recorded a reaction to it weeks ago but I am currently making my 8th attempt at editing it so it will pass the copyright bots.

Fenomena'l is the way this word is pronounced in most languages. It is not an english word originally.
Surely Be Happy has to be the worst Israeli song ever however not only do I like Toy but I'm the fool who likes Time too. I like Push the Button too.
Time is so underrated, I was obsessed with this song when it came out
@@toottoot75 Always nice to meet another fan :-)
Push the Button will forever be my guilty pleasure. Even my 75 year old mother sings it on occasion.
Time was robbed

I like the black and white passage and the rhythm. But I find the song disjointed. It feels like listening to a mix of several songs. Sorry

it's a good song, not my favourite but a very second good one.
answer is no

There are Ukrainian dances in this clip. They are dancers of Ukrainian singer Maruv with “Siren song” (Bang). I am impressed how everything Ukrainian became popular: Israel took Ukrainian dancers and Loreen copied the song of Ukrainian singer Mika Newton. What the hell is going on)))
Her dancers aren't Ukrainian, but Israelis: Eden Shema, Zohar Fizitzky, Amit Guetta, Niv Elbaz and Raphael Binyamin
God bless Jerusalem the capital of Israel 🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱
He's favorite is "push the button"?! Seriously?! luky for us youre not one of the judges :) OMG the worst ever! and I'm an israeli hahah
If you hate toy the most you should listen to Israel's 2000 and 2001 entries back to back terrible songs 😂
Do a reaction of Cyprus
Cringe worthy song reaction
Terorist :/
