SVB has the smoothest stroke in the business, period.

Fedor Gorst best fundamentals and stroke there is
@@mikescott3808 yeah, thing is Fedor was 16 when that comment was made lol
At 8 minutes 14 seconds Shane discreetly moves chalk on table for a visual aid to make his kick shot. Watch where the cue ball hits the rail. Super easy to split the difference on this one and move the calk in an instance, though he looks like he is putting time into it. Pretty sure visual aids are against the rules even if they are table chalk.
@8:12 Shane uses the chalk to mark where he wants to aim. He ends up shooting that exact spot. That is illegal.
Is it just me or does Bowman look like Trevor from GTA-V?
Nicks Corvette Stop I was thinking the jack the ripper from last action hero
I'm done
That match with Josh Roberts was the best performance of barbox 8 ball I have ever seen.
That match alone did more for my game then any tutorial video.
Jesse is from Illinois ...my state....one of the best players I've ever watched
The east moline clown; His brother has a better attutude to be a pro.
EAST MO!
He's a little sloppy though... In my opinion, he needs to slow it down a bit and add a tad more precision without bumping his opponent's balls.
Whoah, the Mike Dechaine shot in the intro was awesome. That's color of money worthy.
second that!
at 8:12 you can see Shane move the other chalk to the approximate spot to kick at.
Once again, the audio is barely within hearing.
what happened at 54:57
It is really hard to win against SVB. Once SVB messes up a shot, his comeback in the next round will be such a massive one that the opponent won't even get a chance to pot a ball. Can never get bored watching SVB play.
Why is the the volume on the commentary so low on every CSI video?
That’s the most annoying thing. I love the pool but can’t hear it.
@@adamviator978 I always have to use ear buds on my or turn on my big system speakers when I watch it on the flatscreen tv.
Is marking the rail with your chalk illegal in this tournament? SVB clearly moves his chalk right to the spot where he wants to hit without needing to move it as he wasn't on that side of the table. I would hate to see this for his reputation, would love to know the rules for this tourney.
even though svb is such a great player, ive never someone as unlucky as him. the times he scratches on breaks is just outstanding
On that 10th rack, anyone else see how that ball rack triangle stopped the 8 ball from moving? Thats y i dnt like those racks. There may not be a high chance of that happening but as we saw, it happens. Im surprised theres no rule for when that happens or something. They didnt even acknowledge it
Yeah I don’t understand why they are using those stupid fucking things. I like the automatic racks
Good game guys 👍👌
couldnt watch vid due to low/bad sound quality.
" The appreciative crowd is stunned. " Now that's funny. Great call from Jesse .
Playing the commercials so much louder than the commentary is very annoying !!!
Bowman was totally out classed. You could really see the difference between the two on cue ball control.
yep...jesse could shoot great, never had a great cue ball though
When the score was 4-4 it actually should have been 6-2 Jesse. Shane scratched twice up to that point and Jesse failed to capitalize on those opportunities......very costly!
What’s the name of Shane pool cue??
It's a Cuetec SVB special edition with a cinergy carbon fiber shaft. It's available in diferent colors
What happened to Ken Shuman? I haven't heard him commentating any matches this year.
At some point you just gotta face it and shave your head. He looks like he gives free candy from a van.
57:40 the rack is moved by the cue ball and may have had a significant impact on the rack/break.
ive seen it a few times in this match, that thing wont stay down
I will never understand why they started using those stupid plastic flat racks. They cause so much interference to the path of the balls and are a complete waste of time.
Wow
“Balls all over the place”
*ahem*
Wish i could hear the commentators....jeez..
that lag was sweet
Shane usually doesn't win the lag. Interesting
Why are they using 7ft tables instead of 9 ft? English size tables with American pockets is just far too easy for an open tournament, especially with professionals playing in it
8 ball on a seven footer has different challenges than a 9 footer. Balls are congested on a 7 foot table. 9 foot table you have room to move. yea the shots are longer but you have space to move and play shape. I wouldn't say its any easier on a 7 for players of this caliber. Just different.
what size is the table?
7.ft
9:32
jesse is good but i believe i can take him or give him a heck of a challenge :)
why do the commentators speak speak softly it's not like they are distracting they are not even near the table
the commentary tho
6th rack was stupid and sloppy
But why are they playing on these bar tables? Probably why guys like Shane had no game at all at Mosconi.
davids11131113 the
davids11131113 they host these bar table events because they know it will draw a bigger field
Level the playing field, attract a larger field, yield higher profits. The tables bring in a lot of money.
gmanhfx Is the builder thousand 17 is nine ball tournament Rumrunner Las Vegas Nevada done
Is the billiards nine ball Las Vegas
Bar tables. Yawn.
Go play SVB on a bar-box & let me know how bored you get.
Bar box. Yawn.
It's actually not a bar table. It is not a full-size 9-footer either, but it is actually an 8-foot table, or thereabouts. Overall, shots may be a bit shorter; but, in turn, position has to be played with more precision. Also, it is easier for balls to get tied up and clumped together. Just because it is a smaller table doesn't necessarily mean that the game will be easier; just a little different.
Bar tables are actually more difficult to run out on...
It's definitely a bar table. 3.5'X7'.
A couple of bums playing a little girls game.
Wtf why would u play this professionally, 7ft Americans are just ridiculous tf a 5 year old could clear a table... boring!
RossH You do realize that bar tables are harder to run out on and get a shot on...
Drew you keep saying that, but you're wrong. Check the stats if you want, but there were far more break and runs during this tournament and the USBTC than there were at the US Open 9-ball on the big tables.
Eric Charlton The problem is youre comparing 9 vs 8 ball
Drew Binkley the 8-ball numbers would also be way higher, Sir. Ask SVB if his life depended on a break and run which table he’d prefer. I know my answer!
as someone who plays consistently on 9ft tables and 7ft tables, I can tell you that 7ft 8ball is not easy. there are much more carem, kick, 2 rail situations, and playing position with the cue ball where you're going around 4 rails to hit a 4" window. to each their own. but I can see how the higher use of English, banks, and ball breakouts in bar table can be more interesting to watch than prescise angles constant safeties.
Stupid rule that they spot the 8ball. It should be an automatic win.
Freddie is my favorite commentator
7:57 is Bowman playing without a tip on his cue?!?!?!?!?!?!
Kinda looks like it, I don’t know why it’s so short
I think the commentators forget these guys are pros.
Jesse Bowman plays an insane 8 ball game.
Think he def gave Shane a run, missed that side, dry break, never got a chance back cause Shane is probably best player in world right now.
