This is the type of material we use on the roofs its called single ply from pvc material to tpo but we weld the seems and detail the corners it would look much better if it was adhered from all the floor to have no bubbles.....
But don't use glue to your company fitted orignal fiberglass matting ..... putting a removable layer is always a good idea .....you can simple remove it , clean it, wash it , and then put it back

If one can remove front seat and gearleaver console ....you can do it yourself ..... SECONDLY , you can use matting , which one can easily purchase for 12-15sq ft ... ( I have done same to my car ,myself . Costed me 300)

Mi esposa tiene una Ford y el piso es de plástico y es una ventaja la limpieza grande , grande pasar un trapo húmedo y un acondicionador al final de vez en cuando y queda super bien .
