- The people of Sudan have faced a devastating conflict for a little more than a year now.
Millions have been displaced. Thousands have been killed. Now there's a threat of famine.
Aid agencies are warning the nation of 49 million people is at risk of collapsing.
Sudan sits in a strategic area of northeast Africa, with seven other countries sharing borders and re-sources like the Nile river. So, what are the regional implications of this conflict?
And what can the international community do to bring Sudan back from a nationwide food emergency?

Why shouldn't we call out the UAE and the other Arab monarchies for stoking the conflict? Why should I always stand against the US imperialism and not the illiberal policies of Arab states in conflicts? I should and you should. And this doesn't mean we should stop attacking the US administration for inflaming, exacerbating and creating global conflicts. Instead this means raising our voices against any injustice unfolding on the planet earth. This is our duty to the humanity, and we must fulfill it.

"In the Last Days because lawlessness has increased, most men's hearts shall grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved." This level of lawlessness from both sides of this conflict, especially the RSF, has opened them up to the most evil of human behaviors and cruelty. The innocent, the civilians in their path may be being consumed from without, but those doing these things are being consumed from within.

I am wondering if most of Europe and North America even knows the Difference between the civil war in Darfur/Sudan or the ongoing insurgency in Somalia between the Somali and al-Shabab or the ongoing insurgency in Nigeria and Boko Haram? There are even more. The French or now Russian back West Saharan Countries and the Tuareg fighters?
It's like Southeast Asia after the European Colonial powers left. The regional factions that were either favored or not by the Colonials, now are vying for control or just even survival.

Al Jazeera means The Earth in my translation. The Earth is just this small planet, an Arc of Life if you will, travelling along, being pulled by the Sun in our 225 Million year orbit around the Milky Way Galaxy.
So, in the time Humanity arose from Tree Living Primates until now is maybe 2 million years. And the Earth is roughly 4.5 billion years old.
So, we are just hitch hikers in the Galaxy and the Earth has made maybe 18 trips around the Galaxy.
Really, do we understand how small and temporary we are?
Frankly most Western European and North American Governments have stopped paying any attention or even brief lip service to African conflicts and their resolution. Yet, these conflicts are contributing massively to the European Refugee Crisis of Greece, Italy, France, England and Sweden.
One would think that they would take a greater interest in the stability and even eventual marginal prosperity of these Northern African countries as they have direct impact on the socio-economic stability of many European countries, just as the instability of Latin America caused by centuries of Colonialism and US repression has led to the Immigration/US Border crisis with Mexico.
One problem is NOT separate from the other. Yet they think that that building a great big Donald Trump Wall will be the solution. He is so out of touch it is simply Dangerous!
This distraction from the real issue of widespread looting of Sudanese resources is not intended to ever end.Fallow the money!
