25k miles no issues, have done track days, drag racing etc never had an issue. This is not for the corvette purist. This is showing how you lower a c5 as low as it will go on factory suspension. Rides and drives great and slammed!
THE PROBLEM,WITH TAKING THE ADJUSTING PAD, IS NOW YOU HAVE THE LEAF SPRING RIGHT ON THE CONTROL ARM. ANOTHER PROBLEM YOUR GONNA BE AT THE END OF YOUR ALIGNMENT ADJUSTMENT. JUST LOWER THE BOLT TO THE BOTTOM BUT LEAVE THE ADJUSTMENT SCREW PAD IN PLACE.... ITS GONNA GIVE YOU A 1 INCH CLEARANCE FROM TIRE TO FENDER..PERFECT !!!!

Agreed. I would absolutely not do this.
You guys know that it fucks up the weight shifting dynamics ,right?
But this one goes to 11!
So your leaf spring is not being held down by anything else but the weight of the car?
What the hell are you doing?
My boy took the front bolts out and leaf spring on his c5 to slam it
Did u have to raise it back up cuz my shit is slammed? And it’s just that bolt it all the way down
I couldn't do it after I listen to you you confuse me he talked about too much stop I got to get my mechanic to do it anyway
Hating and none educated. This is so old school. And safe I put over 60k riding like this . Just gotta know how to turn and cut the wheels 😂
I use to put really thin rubber in-between the spring and u know the deal
