One of my good friends, both legs amputated at mid thigh, uses only short stubbies, even when going to work. He says that they are safe, comfortable and reliable ; summary : the best prostheses !

Stubbies, short or tall are - by far ! - the most comfortable, reliable and easy-to-use prostheses. I'll never switch to "modern" prosthèses !
To be able to wear stubbies, you need to have good and healthy stumps. Walking with only one stubby will be very difficult.@@morgancalvi6675
