Cool. I like the new style. Midway had the new APP deluxe on sale at just under a C-note, so I bought a second one. My older one is now ‘skeletonized’ with all the case feed parts removed and serves only as a bullet sizing press. I haven’t used the priming system on the new one yet, but I’m getting ready to, so I’m happy that you’ve put this one out. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
My reloading bench is so small that I am getting rid of some stuff because I am out of room. This kit allows me to do everything case prep and bullet sizing on one press... so the APP is going to go away.
I always have primers fall out when I switch trays. Thinking about this upgrade. The original one crushed too many primers for me. And I already bought the handle for the APP and the ACP.
@@papasplace2 It does work. But sometimes the primer goes sideways. But the ACP did that once in a while as well. I am not the only one that updated their APP with that kit. I saw a few videos thtat's why I tried it. And it works.
@@andy79z28Well for me it really didn't matter much as I had both the APP and the APC presses. Now the APC can do it all for me. I am thinking about selling the APP to recoup some of the money I've spent to help pay for my cataract surgery that's coming up. But it would have been nice if Lee had been forthright with the answer!
Yep. You just need one of Lee's Breech Locks to mount the die in. I wouldn't size anything larger then 223/300blk rifle brass... but any pistol brass works fine... oh and it wouldn't hurt to lube that cases even with carbide dies... it just makes the job easier and faster.

I was the first to put a roller handle on an AAP, mine is hand made made and there is only one like it. 🇺🇸
The roller handle makes such a big difference!

This kit also can be put on the APP which will alow you to prime on the APP. I have it. Worls ok.
I had 2 different people at Lee tell me that the kit would not work on the app...

Can you take out that dome thing and put in a sizing and decapping die. And size with that press too??
