It never fails to give me goosebumps. A timeless program from a legendary skater. I'm so glad Yuzuru is skating Hope and Legacy in his ice stories because it was my dream to watch this program in person and it's now, in his pro era, that I could fulfill that dream.
I love how the cheering starts from the end of his final jump and never quite stops until he finishes the spin, whereupon the noise grows deafening. The crowd knows that he had a successful skate!
this vantage point is really good to see how fast he is, how beautifully constructed the program was, his ice coverage. I've watched this performance hundreds of times and it never fails to move me, especially when you think about EVERYTHING that happened leading up to this... the asthma attack a couple of weeks before the championship, the silly mistake in the jump combo in his short program, the 30' 1-point penalty, how devastated he was for having placed in 5th after the SP, how badly he wanted to get his World Champion crown back after two consecutive world championship competing injured and losing to Javier... but above all, how ISU started to underscore him after he broke the IJS system with SEIMEI, in 2015. Love this all-encompassing view although we can't see his expressions. He was gliding so swiftly across the vast expanse of the ice up and down, and jumping so gracefully. He really made it all look so easy.

Thank you for uploading this. Your view gave me two things I can't get from tv coverage. First, that quad loop at the beginning looks like its floating, almost defying gravity, and the tv coverage is too close for that to truly come across. Second, the speed and coverage across the ice is phenomenal. Again, everything is too close on tv to understand how fast these skaters move. I love having both perspectives to watch.
Yes. Camera work in tv is so bad! Camera shot was either too far or too near in official video but it is better here! I can see the perfect flow of his movements and choreography perfectly!

The thing I noticed too was how fast he spins in his jumps. I've never seen that from above before.
Yuzuru did so many jumps, who can count how many Quads he did.
He did 4 quads: Quad Loop, Quad Salchow, Quad Salchow Triple Toeloop combo and Quad Toeloop.
