Great game. Sparty really put their experience and conditioning on display, down the stretch. Theryn Hallock played out of her mind, but it was also an incredible team effort.
Unfortunate the female announcer made no attempt to hide her obvious bias. In second half she ran out of things to criticize MSU for and became much more quiet. I have my bias, but I wasn’t an announcer. Better to do a better job of pointing out positives on both sides and let viewers decide for themselves based on what the viewer sees. You can put lipstick on a pig. Michigan got crushed.
I think they were a bit shook by all the State fans in the arena. But Barnes has been getting away with horrible coaching throughout her career, and against quality teams it reveals itself. The first problem is 5 guard sets are not effective against quality teams. I like Kampschroeder as she has gained confidence playing with the freshman, but she should not be starting at center. She doesn't give us enough offense to offset the disadvantage in the low post. These losses are typical coaching losses, not player losses. It's the coach who doesn't make changes when she observes bad basketball. Overall though, I think when we play State again in Lansing it will be more competitive.
Hard to win when Swords and Olson play like trash and you turn the ball over 20 times. The Wolverines managed to put up a good run during the second half of the second when they sat the freshmen, but it was over as soon as they walked back in the third. Growing experience, I hope.

These programs should be evenly matched. Michigan collapsed completely the second half.
Agreed 👍🏾
Michigan is not as strong as previous years
@alexchaplin8177 some of these loses, are poor coaching
