- I leave the dry barren centre of the island and take a short cut through an epic track west towards Wānaka. With it being very touristy I decide to head north out of town, I find an incredible lake to camp on the shores of on my solo motorbike camping adventure around New Zealand on the Royal Enfield Scram 411.
That comment about the kids leaving their bikes at the bus stop just made my heart glow. That's how carefree I remember my childhood.
Yes it was so cool to see the bikes there, also there was a package left there as well and you know it would have gotten to the right person.
@@freewayproject just keep doing what you're doing, Joe. Your work is enormously under subscribed so far. Don't do it for the subs, (and I don't think that's why you do it) just do what you love. Millions more love it too, they just haven't had time to catch up yet so don't deprive them. We're just the lucky ones who found you early. Finishing my Friday's with a red and your latest is one of the highlights of my week.
It is hard to describe how awesome this series is, you are able to really get into the ' off the beaten track ' regions of that fantastic country .... the South Island they say is for the scenery, the north for the people ... looks to be correct about the south ay Joe ... and your photos WOW !!!!!
Thanks mate, yes so many places are so beautiful and unique, when I think I have seen everything the next day there is something new just as beautiful and totally unique. It's great to hear you are still enjoying the series.
Mate, you really know how to capture the light. Awesome film. Thanks.
Thanks mate, great to hear you enjoyed this episode.
Your content is an oasis of excellence in a cesspool of UA-cam junk. Thanks so much for sharing your inspiring, cinematic content. Absolutely stunning! Inspires me to get out on my bike and go for an adventure. Can't wait to see what's next!
It's great to hear you are enjoying the series Andrew and awesome that you're out there exploring.
Man I couldn't have put it better myself. That is so true - i scroll through sometimes not being able to find anything of interest to watch. But when Joe pings in the inbox, you know you are going to have an enjoyable 20 minutes or so.....
"Endless Epic Days" = New Zealand. I love that description Joe. And I'm sure there will be more epic days as your Motorcycle Adventure continues in NZ!! 👏👏👏😊
Yes , it has been epic and still more to come. New Zealand just keeps delivering, I am loving it.
Joe, that lake camping spot was great. The colour changes on the mountain as the sun went down, the crystal clear water...a place to watch the day go by...There are so many beautiful spots. Your episodes are a Friday evening treat!
Yes it was an awesome spot to camp, and watch the shadow creep up the mountain on the other side of the lake, New Zealand just keeps delivering. I'd great to hear you are still enjoying the series.
So many animals in NZ, and they just chilling on the road and everywhete 😮 beautiful
Also i impressed how they left bicycle without chains 😂 cool country, what a dream to live here
yes, it a awesome community when kids can leave their bikes like that.
Mate, those late afternoon shots of the lake, the mountains and the sun.....EPIC
It was a magic spot to camp, New Zealand delivering again.
Hi Joe, thanks for another Friday video. Really enjoyed watching this one.
The colours of the NZ landscapes are truly beautiful. Thanks again for sharing your trip. 👍🇦🇺
You are welcome Kent, great to hear you enjoyed this episode.
Your a brave soul, Joe getting your feet wet. LOL keep on keeping on!!!
haha, well it didn't take me 20mins to get in the water like it did on the most south beach in Australia, so not a fan of getting in cold water. It would have been fully dark if I had tried to get all in there haha.
❤❤❤
Thanks, great to know you are enjoying more episodes.
Another awesome video Joe.. And the place you camped near that lake mate, absolutely beautiful. Cheers again Joe awesome series. 👍🍻
Thanks mate, yes I scored with that camp site, New Zealand doing it again.
13:43 I appreciate the effort of that shot. Glad the weather cleared up for you too.
Thanks mate, it just so stunning riding over and though that range. Yes epic weather now.
Joe, love your stuff. Now the going through farm gates bit, get off the bike open the gate and push the bike through close the gate and then get back on. I am an old Aussie farmer- this is the least effort way. However if it good for your excellent journey to do it your way, go for it!
if it down hill I sometimes push it but mostly ride through, just trying to stay upright is my first goal 😂 if I do that I have succeeded.
I hope you are enjoying the series.
Many memories here from extended visits some years ago. Brilliant videos, Joe.
Thanks mate, great to hear you enjoyed the episode. It is an amazing area to explore.
Great video. I can't wait to get my wee bike on the road; it's getting closer.
I remember sleeping in my little tent a bit further north. Woke up and could see ice crystals on the inside of the tent. I looked down and they were also on the outside of my sleeping bag. Thermometer said -12C.
I am lucky it wasn't that cold, I don't think I would have gotten out of the sleeping bag until the sun was directly on me. Awesome you'll be out there soon.
Great video an awful lot of effort must have gone into that to make it look so seamless and high quality.👏🏻 NZ doing a great job of showing off!! We went the blue pool and my Mrs became the meal of the day for the sand flies. Watch those little sods!
Thanks Lee, it's great to hear you enjoyed it. Yes in every episode New Zealand keeps showing more incredible and unique places. Yes the sand flies might be small but man do they itch. I've learn the hard way (episode 2) to keep covered up near water.
howay man, that's increadible , i like your trips , and the ways you're making them, in another way, these days i'm snowed down with plenty of videos made by famous youtube motorcyclists, and i don't know how they are all actually in new zealand, each one and his own route. unbelievable
It's great to hear you are enjoying the series, by the amount of stuff I have missed I would day I could do a bunch more trips and see new stuff every time. There is so much in New Zealand to explore.
What a place to ride....and take pictures...looks like more to come. Great work Joe. Garth
Thanks Garth, yes it is an incredible island to explore on a motorcycle.
So many lakes and so beautiful. Your adventure continues to get better.
Yes, I think New Zealand couldn't deliver any better, then the next day, I realise I was wrong.
Really enjoyed this. Now that I've stumbled across your channel, I'll have to back track through your previous episodes.......no hardship to do that.😊 Best wishes from the UK.
Thanks Alan, it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode. This is episode 10 of this journey, there is a playlist for the "Roam New Zealand" series (I think it shows them in order). There are also a couple other series riding around Australia and a short one around the Island of Bali if you are interested.
Lovely start to a Friday here watching you there! I stayed with friends in Wanaka in 2023, then took a trip out to the West Coast for a few days...it is a glorious place but agree on the touristy spots, best avoided. Keen to go back and do some two wheeled exploring
Thanks mate, great to hear you are enjoying the series. Definitely worth exploring this island on two wheels, it has been an incredible experience so far.
Epic Vid Joe. Thanks.
23 gates and only two bridges Awh??? Thanks for sharing your stunning photography. Cheers Annie
yep it felt like more haha. it's always great to hear you enjoyed the episodes, thanks for the continued support of watching.
Have just caught up with your travels.
Amazing, shots, really looking forward to the next one. Looks like you're heading up my favorite part of the country.
Thanks mate, yes heading up the west coast, great to hear you are enjoying the series.
Wow! 😮
not a bad campsite, and the track was a lot of fun too.
Thanks! Another great day on the track and campsite. Safe travels , ✔️
It's great that you are still enjoying the series, thank you so much for the continued support.
After looking for motorcycle channels...this one is fantastic Joe. Great camera work...thanks for sharing
Thanks Mark, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series.
Brilliant. Thank you
Great to hear you enjoyed it Adam.
Great video as always. So many gates!
haha yes so so many gates. it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode Chris.
Cheers Joe. Lots of potential viewing for me there.😊
Great content, and I like your "easy going" presentation.
I toured New Zealand a few years ago, albeit in a car. Wonderful country.
Seeing New Zealand anyway either by car, motorbike, bicycle or foot would be epic. So many incredible beautiful places
Totally agree with you there. Of course, I didn't get as far off the beaten track as you on the bike, but I enjoyed it non the less.
Scotland is as far as I travel on my bike. Doesn't have the grandeur of New Zealand, and it can get quite busy.
I love the last three minutes so much, the solitude, the feeling, the serenity, sun-shining grooves on the mountains, so beautiful. You are amazing, it was such luck that the second campsite was closed, so you enjoyed a better one.😁
Thanks for the continue support of watching each episode, great to hear you are still enjoying them. Yes in the end I think I got the best camp spot. I saw your channel, I have started watching one of you're videos, it looks interesting, keen to watch more.
@@freewayproject Haha😅, Thanks, that's a small one, more like personal vlogs. Yours are so different, mountains of film skills in ur vids, so useful, and craving for the next video.😉
wow.............. just wonderful
Yes New Zealand just keeps turning it on where ever I go Russel. Just stunning. It's great to hear you enjoyed the episode
That was cool Joe! Some amazing scenery in NZ, and a ripper campsite too 😎👍
Again so many fun dirt roads, tracks and trails. yes I scored with that camp site, was pretty cool watching the shadow rise up the other side of the lake.
Still stunning mate you’ve got this story telling dialed in aye loving it ride safe ooroo
Thanks for the continue support of watching each episode, great to hear you are still enjoying them.
@@freewayproject you do a great job cobba not hard to watch what i love doing
Enjoyed your video. Video content, editing was excellent. Good one 👍
Thanks Ihsan, it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode
Interesting...... The shore line at the lake looks similar to the shoreline in Baja, on the Sea of Cortez. In many places the mountain face just runs straight into the sea, no beach at all, or only a sliver of rocky sand. I'm in Loreto, BCS now, and this week I’ll start looking for some dirt track. BTW..... If every day is epic, there’s no reason to to say so. I love the pics at the end, as always, they’re epic. 😎
Is when a mountain running straight into the water called a Fjord as you described or does it have to be a narrow passage too? anyway it sound cool what you have been riding through in Baja. I googled Loreto, it looks beautiful. have fun out there.
Another great episode, thanks!👍
Great to hear you are still enjoying the series
Its always enjoyable to follow Your journey no matter where You are, but NZ is epic. 🥸
yes Bjarne, New Zealand does fit the word epic very well.
You scored with the weather today Joe👍😊
yes it was a magic day for riding.
Love watching your videos
Great to hear you are enjoying the series.
Loving your adventures mate your video and editing and photography is absolutely brilliant!! Looking forward to the next episode of the West Coast!!
Thanks mate, it is great to hear you are enjoying the series. Still a few more episodes to come on the south Island.
@@freewayproject mint looking forward to those episodes currently binging your previous adventures
Awesome ride Joe. Thanks again...
thanks mate, and thanks for the support of continuing watching the series.
So glad you got to ride those great tracks. I was worried you missed out when you went to queenstown
It's not to fare to cross back and forth across the island (which is awesome) probably do it again to keep the Roam vibe going. I hope you enjoyed the episode.
Hi Joe, really enjoying your NZ series. Particularly liked this video. It is inspiring me to have a go at off road biking. My only concern is my dodgy old back, but the scerene beauty you can experience by going off tarmac is intoxicating. Looking forward to your next video.
Thanks Stephen, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series. going off the beaten track is a lot of fun and gives you access to some incredible places, just start with the easy farm road and get used to the bike moving a little bit under you, no need to rush it as there is so much to explore.
@freewayproject Many thanks for the advice Joe.
Beautiful!
New Zealand definitely is that William.
Great shots as usual 👌 👏
Thanks Kenny.
Hey mate, love this series, we literally just did almost the exact same trip without the off-road stuff as we were on Harley’s, but I like you had so many wow moments it was really hard to edit the videos and try to decide what I was leaving in and what I was leaving out, it’s a stunning country, well done on the videos
Thanks mate, yes such an incredible island to explore, yes i have the same issue as there is so many epic places, what do you leave in and what do you cut out. It's great to hear you are enjoying the series.
@@freewayproject what was your favourite spot?
Hey Paul!!! Glad you like Joes stuff. I think he’s fantastic. I’m taking notes, like I am from your blogs on nz. ❤❤ Annie
@@Bugonabike314 hi Annie, he’s doing a great job with the vlogs, you’re going to love it over there
@@TheHarleyRoadshow Queenstown is great as it has access to a lot of trails and places to explore close by, but I am only just over halfway through the trip so still more to come.
It's so cool to watch your casual approach to seeing some of the best views in the world. I really must go back and see where you've been. Damn cool man!
New Zealand just keep on delivering more and more places to explore, I know I'll be coming back as I am just scratching the surface. Definitely worth exploring again.
Another wonderful ride. Thanks for sharing it.
Great to hear you enjoyed this episode Scott.
Awesome! I've been following your NZ trip as it brings back so many memories. If you are ever in Newcastle NSW and looking for a place to stay hit us up. Cheers!
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series. And thanks for the offer, I'll take a not of it .

Thanks Geoff, it's great to hear you enjoyed this episode.
"probably done a movie here" Yup, around poolburn reservoir was the plains of Rohan in Lord of the Rings. Also filmed in the area was The Power of the Dog. Stunning part of the world 😍
haha, thanks for the information, I think I could ask that questions in most of these stunning location and the answer would be "yep"
Pretty much! I used to fly tourist flights in the region. You’ve visited quite a few lord of the rings sites! North of Glenorchy was the Isengard for example 😀
Had a good chuckle at the wanaka tree bit too 😂
Thanks Joe, Another great vid - bit disappointed you didnt swim!!
haha, yes I'm a bit soft when it comes to cold water with out a wetsuit 😂

Thank you for taking us along your adventure of discovery. I find your whole approach, meditative and a kind of a 'city cleans'.
you're welcome Ralf, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series.
Some great country, and off the tourist route which makes it even better. I remember going along that road beside the lake - great views and Haast pass is amazing. Thanks again.

Continues to be amazing scenery, well put together Joe thanks for taking us for the ride

Thank you Joe .. for sharing the beauty of our planet and your epic adventure which I don't want to see end ... love from NZ
You're welcome Roger, I think New Zealand is what makes it special, such an amazing beautiful place to explore.
I'm glad to see you enjoying Central Otago.
I live in Wanaka. We do the Thompsons track all the time. It's great fun.
Loving watching your adventure. 👍👍
It is an amazing area to explore, You are in a great spot, I know I haven't even scratched the surface so I gather you have so many other tracks and places to explore. It amazing where ever I go on this island there is something unique and stunning just around the corner. I did enjoy Thompson track.
Yea there where a few times when I was shouting at the TV, turn left, or don't turn right. Lol.

Great videos you make. I used to travel by motorcycle in my younger days in USA. Never been to New Zealand. Would love to go. If you like to fish you should get a small telescopic fishing pole and small tackle kit to carry with you. Wish you well from USA.
Thanks Sean, it's great to hear you enjoyed the series. Hopefully it will only be a few weeks until we're on the next one.
Thanks I do like creating the posters.
damn big metal eating moths dude ,cool views
Yes definitely epic views.
Had the privilege of living and riding around the central Otago for 9 years or so, you only scratched the surface mate, you need to go back and get James to show you around some more ❤❤
@@adventureswithham2223 yes, I have barely scratch the surface across the whole island, so definitely will be coming back.
What incredible ride Joe, and those pictures, wow this is type place you don’t ever want to leave, you said a line that I use to hear from a guy that had a show when I was younger, it was called On the road with Charles Curalt, he would end his show with, wonder what’s up the road around the next bend, anyway, I notice when you camp I do not see much in the way of preparing a meal, just wonder if u do or not and if so is it dehydrated meal, me and my buddy carry these and some are better than others, anyway great video as always, stay safe my brotha. Rob U.S.
Thanks Rob, it is great to hear you enjoyed the episode. I searched On the road with Charles Curalt and found a few old episode on youtube, before I knew it I was 20mins in haha.
A few reasons for the lack of seeing what I eat in each episode. If you go back through the Australia series you'll probably see why, but
I had restriction on the plane to 23kg (50lb) so limited space.
the days are normally quite long and at the end of each day I have to download all the footage from the cameras and recharge everything, so it limits time. If I then to have to prepare food, then cleaning the cooking stuff (find water to clean) it means it's later in the night before I can get to sleep, which build day after day and I don't want to be tired riding on the bike.
Also the cost, most of the time I eat something like tin tuna or fruit or raw veggies, it keeps the cost down to a few dollars (the dehydrated meal here are $15 - $20 each), I don't have much of a budget to do these trips, that's why I am mainly free camping also and Royal Enfield let me use the bike for free> I get a lot of comments from people (trying to be helpful, which is great information) suggesting gear that I should get, but I can not afford to get anything else. My priority is the experience so I am totally fine with making small sacrifices (but I don't really see them as sacrifices just part of the adventure).
@@freewayproject thanks for the reply Joe and taking the time to do so, that’s greatly appreciated, love the ride your on, and look forward to the next
What a fantastic series! Ive binged it over two days. Thanks for making my country look so good 😊
I live in Auckland and have travelled pretty extensively around the North Island but after watching this i need to get myself and my bike down to the South Island ASAP! I haven't been down South for years.
Are you recording your route as you go? Id love to get the GPX files if you are!
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series.
I don't record where I am going, but there is a great website i have heard of that has a lot of the tracks I did maybe that will help

Not sure 🤔 if that Bank was when NZ was part of Australia ( if you didn’t know mate ) Australia and New Zealand have always had a close relationship. But for a few months in 1840-41 our connection was even closer - New Zealand was formally made an extension of the New South Wales colony
I couldn't help myself and did some research, It seems it was the first bank in Australia 1817, and yes was in NZ. It merged with the Commercial Bank of Australia in 1982 and became Westpac. It is wild I have learnt that from going to New Zealand haha
Well done Joe, I always enjoy watching your videos especially when there is so much beautiful scenery. I ride a RE Scram, how did you like it or happy to get back on your own.
Thanks mate, it is great to hear you enjoyed the episode. The Scram was great, I'll do a review of the bike and the differences between it and the Himalaya at the end of the series. The Scram is definitely better on tight twisty turns on the tarmac with the 19inch front wheel, it was great for this type of trip. You'd only need the Himalayan if you're going to tackle more difficult off road trails and tracks.
epic
I couldn't have summed up New Zealand any better.
@@freewayproject yes, but I also meant your video 🙂
Hey joe are you doing this epic tour of New Zealand now in June or did you do the trip a few months back when it was a bit warmer, great views , you lucky bugger cant wait for the next episode.
Great to hear you enjoyed the episode Bernard. The episodes take me a while to edit so the first few where uploaded when I was there in March - April. I wish I could edited faster but they would probably turn out crap if I rushed it.
Glad you take the time to edit them. It really shows and makes viewing a pleasure.
Do the original tyres have enough grip? Than you for your great videos!!
It all depends on the terrain you're riding, but there was enough grip from the CEAT tyres on the off road terrain I took it on. Episode 9 had a decently step climb with loose larger rocks and I had no issue, water crossing were also fine over boulders. I think if you were trying to get up on steeper climbs and it was muddy that's where you would probably want to get tyres with a more aggressive tread.
hello Ryan what is the brand of that quilt sleeping bag please. and great video, realy enjoy them
Thanks Patrick, it's great to hear you're enjoying the series. The quit sleeping bag is the Waratah Hiking Quilt here is a link if that helps. nevegear.com.au/products/waratah?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw1K-zBhBIEiwAWeCOFy2F5ssJN8qccyDgGYS2X8JwVhOUegvB1WbaAfj6eE8RIbMBcuSjshoCN3oQAvD_BwE
Do you not have any problems with wild animals when camping. I live in Bulgaria and still like wild camping but we have Bears wolves, foxes, badgers.
Last year i was in Romania and used a camp site that had an electric tall fence to keep the bears out but my tent still got raided with foxes in the night. You never seem to have any problems,or never mention that you do. I get to the point i just don't get any sleep in my tent anymore.
No, I have never had issues with animals. New Zealand definitely has no animals to worry about. In Australia if you keep your tent zipped up at all time (even if going out for only 30 seconds) then no issue as it's just the snakes spiders, scorpions etc that are the main thing to watch out for. Unless you are in the very north with Crocodile but that's more understand where to camp. On my journeys I am only ever camping over night so I never leave the area around the tent so nearly all animals here won't come near humans.
Really enjoying the series. How was the Scram on highways? Would it sit happily at 100kms and how was it on hills? UnZud used to be administered from NSW prior to the Treaty of Waitangi.
The Scram on the HWY has been great, it fine at 100kph on the HWY, I'll do a review of the bike at the end of the series if you are interested. Thanks for the information , it is so interesting, I'll go do some for research on that now.
@freewayproject definitely interested in the review. Interested in buying an air-cooled Himalayan. Only concerned about highway and up-hill performance
Hey Joe-how long did the ride from St Bathans to Wanaka take on that back road? Including gate opening and closing 😂 Never even new that’s as a option.
Say it every time-but thank you for another amazing beauty of a video. Doing all us NZERS proud..especially the south islanders!!! Happy Matariki 🌌
I am not exactly sure as I stopped 5 times to film and one of those was with the drone so that was probably over 30mins just for that one stop. I was at St Bathans around lunch time and would have gotten to Wanaka I think around 4ish. to get to the start of the track was around 20mins and it was only 30mins once out of the track to Wanaka. I think the track (Thomson Gorge Road) is only about 40km long, so an hour or an hour and a half I think. I hope that helps.
New Zealand is an amazing place to explore, it make it very easy to make the video look good. It's great to hear you enjoyed the episode.
@@freewayproject yeah I can imagine with filming and drone shots would slow you down.
I’m totally going to hit up that track in the spring. Will let ya know how long it takes me!! Haha.
Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. Your a real top bloke. Loving ever episode🤩
Bank of NSW merged with another bank back in the I 80’s and became westpac
oh wow, thanks for the information, that is super cool to know.
@@freewayproject founded in 1817, it had branches all over, including New Zealand which incidentally, was part of NSW for a short time. 15th of June 1839 to 3rd May 1841
@@freewayproject it was bank of NSW and CBC ( not CBA)
@@Capalaba Commercial Bank of Australia, couldn't help myself haha, did some research, no idea why I find this stuff interesting.
I’m was hoping you would visit St Bathans. Central Otago is probably my favourite region in NZ Thanks for sharing Joe
I can see why, it a great area to explore.
Hi Joe, I have a question for you. I am looking at getting either the Himalayan or Scram, for some off road adventures, probably nothing super taxing. Dirt, gravel and forest logging roads. I was just wondering which one of these two bikes would be best. They both look very capable but I prefer the look of the Scram. Just thought I'd ask your thoughts. Many thanks Steve
Hi Stephen, I'll do a full review of the bike at the end of the series, but the main different between the 2 is the front wheel, the Scram with the smaller wheel handles better on the tighter twisty roads. If you are not going to do anything more off road that I did in episode 4 (river crossing rough rocky tracks) and episode 9 (a steeper rocky track) the Scram was comfortable in both situation and you like the look of the Scram better then it would definitely be the one to go with, The Himalayan with the bigger front wheel is an advantage when you're dealing with bigger rocks and even more nasty trails.
I hope that helps.
Hi Joe very helpful indeed. Regards Steve
I ride a scram off road all the time in Vic australia... only have trouble in mud or clay.
Got a Patreon or similar I can kick in on? Love a copy of a GPX file of you NZ trip
Thanks mate, I am working on putting something on my website (www.joeryan.store) in the next few weeks, I am on the road at the moment so as soon as I get back. Thanks for the support.
Yes, it is Australia's NSW!
A funny thing about St Bathans and more precisely Vulcan Hotel. Last August we were in the South Island and had planned to take photos at various landmarks by drone of both of us in them too use as a desktop picture. We drove to St Bathans only to find carpet cleaning vans outside with their hoses going into the building, we just drove on. We now have the old Post Office at Ophir on the desktop.
Anthony
It's always the carpet cleaning vans that spoil the photos 😂.
Cool but isn't it the Post & Telegraph Office!
Hi Joe, been too long...work has been crazy busy and I was riding Lightning a lot we hit 100 miles in 23 days total hours 38! loved that playful pony ;) As usual you reveal incredible beauty! ride on!
Well it is always good to be busy doing something you love, ride on.
Mate, love your roam around NZ, I’m a kiwi, your sound tracks and editing are awesome, except one thing, don’t do the cuts on each bar, 2 at least or you start getting seasick.
Apologies for making you seasick.
Hey Joe, great video as always, but I really like your camping spots, looks like a dream to me.
By the way, I understand that your main goal is documentary about roads and nature but I think everyone would specially like to see you test the new himalayan and give us your opinion, your videos feed my soul, thank you, stay safe.
Thanks mate, yes that camp spot was a special one, it's great o hear you enjoyed it. I have not ridden the new bike, maybe one day I'll get to ride one.
Top cinematography. Love it
Thanks Nathan, it's great to hear you enjoyed it.
Awesome!! Loved it. Darn tent zippers hey! I have a phobia for zippers since our tent zipper broke in Zambia/Tanzania on our 6 month trip a few years ago. Letting every critter into the tent including the dreaded malaria carrying type. Zips are important hey. That 72 sticker on the mirror might need to do a ceremony and remove it (might depict the amount of gates you will be opening on the next stretch hahaha). Anyways safe travels further, looking forward to the next video!
Thanks mate, great to hear you enjoyed the episode. The tent is 9 years old and has done a lot of work ( a lot of years over 100 nights in it). so it had to eventually have issue. Yes there were a lot of gates in that one. The sticker was on it when I got the bike off royal enfield, as they are letting me use it I want to "try" give it back the same way I got it, hopefully I can keep it in once piece.
