The fact that this team didn't win a championship is a tragedy. This is by far the best team (on paper) in the last 20 years. They had 4 first round Wrs on the same team.
This is the best Alabama team I ever saw other than 2011. They had a stacked offense with a top 3 pick at quarterback and the defense wasn't as good as 2011 but it was more than good enough to balance it out.
People act like we got blown out in the NC, but we outgained clemson through 3.5 quarters…..we just were stupid as fuck and Mike locks let had dialed it in because of his new job and the play calling at the goal line was just so awful!
Man this team was so talented all over the field..they were the best team in the country last year but wore down at the end...Clemson had a easy schedule all year plus they got the easier opponent in the playoffs cause ND did not even belong.
Tua played a half in the championship game. Everybody lost their minds when Alabama won that national championship. Fans not knowing Tua and Najee Harris threaten to leave Alabama. Herbstreit told everybody Tua was playing before the game started. Jalen passed only 8 times the first half under pressure. Luckily, the over hyped offensive tackle got injured and Leatherwood played. Tua came in and had time to pass. If you don't believe it, go watch the film. Tua never stayed healthy each year and Alabama's decline started. I was told Tua convinced those receivers to come to Alabama. Those receivers wanted Tua to start. The older guys wanted Jalen. Go watch Ridley come across to catch a pass thrown to Najee Harris. Ridley wasn't happy. He broke his route, came across and cought the pass. Then, got up shaking his head. Najee played in front of Jscobs and A. Harris the second half.
