Regarding debugging: maybe it's no biggy. I assume that everything is pin-compatible, so you could test using a Pico, and when you're happy with the design, transfer it to the smaller mcu.
Xiao is pronounced more like 'she-ow' (in Mandarin at least). It's the character 小 which means small, very fitting for this board form factor when nano, micro, mini, zero etc are all taken. Anyway, great video, nice to see some C/C++ SDK examples.
We use the debug wires to program the chip via vs code from raspberry pi 4 in my class at school so in this case we chose the tiny 2040. It’s a great little board.
Awesome review - short and to the point. I'm researching parts for a project and would like your advice on Adafruit FONA 808 or something similar to work with the rp2040 with small foot print as priority. Many thanks. :-)
Damn, C forced a bad habit to so many C++ developers - using constants in all UPPERCASE. Originally used to make your code safer, this habit works opposite way now.
Great presentation. Clear voice. Right timing. Very informative.
Glad it was helpful!
Another good video, thank you. I really appreciate that you are concentrating mainly on C/C++

Thank you very much for correcting me! Never actually had to say it out loud before...

how does it fair compared to the Seeeduino XIAO?
XIAO has much less memory so less CircuitPython runtime api
is RP2040 available on retail market?
I believe it was released today at 1$ per chip. www.tomshardware.com/news/one-dollar-pi-silicon

Where's the beginner friendly content?
Fairly sure Xiao is pronounced Shao, as in Shaolin.
Thank you!
Well, Xiao is pronounced Shao. However, Shaolin actually is pronounced similar to Saolin
"C"???
Not on your life.
