Jennifer you are always a good escape for me from the depression I suffer from most of the time. You make card crafting a joy for me. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!!!
Lila did a GREAT JOB on the color chart!! And, THANK YOU for all you do to support us crafters. I'm sure we all appreciate the time and effort you put into supporting us and helping us learn more as we move forward. Tell Lila "thanks" for her work on the color chart. You may have a little artist on your hands. :-)
I love your videos Jennifer. You have a very calming way about you and you’re a wonderful teacher. I’ve learned so much from you in the last year. I’m new to card making. I wanted to thank you for taking the time to make and share this video and all of your videos. I’ve struggled with some serious health problems the last few years in and out of the hospital a lot. And card making the last year has given me joy. You’re part of that joy so thank you for helping me make such a difference in my life. I hope that you have a lovely Christmas with family and friends filled with love, joy, and peace. God bless you and yours. ♥️
This was great!! I appreciate all the items that we use but never count on until we run out!! Thanks for all your work and time to put these videos together. ❤️
I am so happy that the wider crafting world has discovered the wonderful Anna Griffin Empress, which I have thought since its introduction in 2018 was a great machine. We who work with Anna Griffin's dies like to cut down into the magnetic mat because they are almost all cut & emboss dies. Cutting into the magnetic mat gives a good cut and embosses at the same time. No more having your cardstock slip out of place during a second embossing pass. In the stamping world, where the dies tend to just cut, then cutting up into the clear plate makes sense too. I will cut up into the clear plate when I'm cutting things like felt or glitter cardstock to help the die edges have a rigid surface to push against. But if you're mostly working with dies that also emboss, the Empress is a game changer. Merry Christmas, Jennifer!
Happy New Year Jennifer! Never apologize for your FABULOUS long videos! They are an absolute pleasure to watch! Great way to start my new year! Hugs to you!
So glad to see the Colour cubes on this list. They are such a wonderful tool. Sarah is local to me and I had the pleasure of meeting her, she is an incredible person, so genuine warm and caring.
I’m delighted to see the “Send Love” print near the end of this! I purchased it last year when we moved and it’s in my new craft space. It’s looks so wonderful in its blue frame, Jennifer. Thanks for all the good suggestions, like that cool craft scrubber. 😄 TFSharing. 💌 Happy Holidays 🌲🌟
I accidentally used stamp cleaner on my sticky mat. All the "sticky" was removed. BUT, with nothing left to lose, I sprayed the mat with Pixie and it works.
Jennifer - Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It was very useful and I appreciate the tidbits of information you shared as you were talking!
They sell a ton of stainless steel pins on Amazon for only a few dollars.... I use them in my tiny glue bottles as well as with the Art Glitter Glue bottles top adapter.... I lose the expensive pins / stoppers just as fast as the 2000 ct for $5.00
The tray idea is what I could really use! I can't tell you how many times I come up with an idea and write it down on a scrap piece of paper...only to be lost in the place where socks go. 😐 At least with those I could pull everything together and then just leave it til I feel like working on it....or til I remember. 😬
Jennifer, thank you so much for sharing this gift guide with us. I look forward to it every year and find it very helpful. It is a great way for me to learn about new crafty tools that I might have missed during the year.
THANK YOU!! Your videos are always great for learning or reviewing techniques. These "favorite" videos are anxiously awaited every year. I appreciate your generosity and your time.
I just ordered a stamp set from Altenew…on sale…The Brooklyn Bridge…with the Statue of Liberty in the background AND a couple of dozen small greetings. I’ve never even ordered from them before….never even taken much of a look at their website. I was so amazed at the impressive lines of products they offer. I love Tim Holtz Distress Oxide, Tsukineko Versamark inks and Sizzix Archival inks, but I was impressed with what I see of their inks, full, minis and refills, all there in one place. 👍
Thank you for the amount of time you put into these videos, Jennifer. I truly look forward to all of your videos, but these end of year favorites are my favorite.
Thank you so very much for putting this video together!! I can’t imagine how much time and effort it took but let me tell you it was all well worth it😊 thank you again!!! Enjoy your holidays with your family 😊
WOW JENNIFER!! This video is PACKED FULL of great crafty goodness. Thank you so much for spending so much time putting this together. My kids always want to know what I want for a gift. This makes it easy to see what I MUST HAVE😊
Thanks Jennifer…I missed this helpful vid last month. FYI on fine tip bottles: It’s great that GK is packaging the fine tip bottles with her glue (I’m gonna have to try this glue since so many people love it.) You CAN get these convenient little puppies on Amazon…packs of 10 or whatever for about $10? But that was a few years ago. I’m sure they’ve gone up.
Thank you!! 100% and then some! I’ve been wanting to get some embellishments, but wasn’t sure which company to go with. Thank you for sharing your inside knowledge with us! All of this is so great and wonderful to know all of the little extra tips, inside knowledge and helpful information! That tray cart is amazing! And I love the shirts & paper weight too. You are the best! Thank you and I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas!
Jennifer, thank you for all the time and energy that must go into making these Crafty Gift Guide videos. So appreciated!! I love all the ideas that you recommended. Merry Christmas to you & yours!!! ❤
Great gift ideas. Found some I didn’t know were out. Thank you for putting them all in one video. For the electric die cutting machine that does it all & is quiet, look at the the Go Power Cut & Embossing machine by Couture Creations. It does the steel rule dies, regular dies, embossing folders and the glimmer foil platform. If you don’t have a foiling system they have one as well. It comes with its own plates but you can use the plates & platforms you already have (just need to adjust the sandwich).
@@mpbailey18 Couture Creations has been around for a while. You can find this on HSN. I purchased mine from The Stamp Doctor. There are a number of YT Videos on it as well.
WOW!!! I thoroughly enjoyed your video and fabulous recommendations! My pen couldn't write fast enough! Thank you so much for your time, effort and your many recommendations! I'm going shopping now!! 💝💝💝💝
Wow, this video was incredibly helpful. I struggle to stay organized while crafting so I really appreciated all the organizational tips. I also loved the mailing tips as that is something I also struggle with. Jennifer you are so incredibly generous with your time to help all of us crafters. Thank you so much and Happy Holidays to you and your family.
Thanks so much Jennifer❣️ LOVE all your videos, and really appreciated you putting time into this one - it gave me some much needed gift ideas. Your videos are awesome. They have literally taught me how to make cards, how to use new equipment and techniques, and have given me much needed inspiration. You are very loved by the card making community! Merry Christmas ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This was a great crafty gift guide - thank you for taking the time to share this information! At first I thought an hour?! But I watched it ALL and I'm going back to review certain sections for the tips your provided. 🙂💜
That was great, Thank you so much for showing the different products and all the ideas. I was making a list of things I need and want, it came to 24. It was fun.
So many great recommendations! If you have dexterity issues I recommend the Fiskars spring load scissors. I’ve had my pair for over 10 years and I love them! My hands get sore very easily and these scissors are so comfortable and make fussy cutting a breeze! They are fairly inexpensive too!
Great options for mailing cards but I just go to the post office and get a stamp that keeps it out of the conveyor belt and bypasses it and it’s a lot cheaper
Thank you for this very informative video. Now I want it all lol. The card making community has come such a long was since I started making cards. It’s such a wonderful and fulfilling craft; and you meet so many wonderful and supportive friends, always willing to help. Gayle❤
Thanks so much for this very helpful video. I learned so much. I had to watch it in several chunks. I'm particularly thrilled to know about the GinaK Masking Magic...I can't tell you how many card backs I've ruined or had to do major fix-ups/erasures on because of getting ink or glue on the back while I was working on the inside or front. So frustrating. I'll have to to get a pack and spend some time on her site too. I know she's a fabulous card maker and instructor too and her products are tops! Thanks again! I'm so glad I came across this video. I'm planning to buy one of the big electric die cutting machines sometime in the near future. I've been considering the Switch Plus, but I'm looking at the Empress too. I m' very partial to Sizzix...love their stuff and have used their machines for a long time. That chronic mat warping thing, however, is a nuisance with Sizzix machines and others. But I'm gonna try the "Magic Mats" that are supposed not warp as much. But if the Empress mats last longer with less warping, then that's something important to consider. Whew! that's enough writing! Take care! 😊
Excellent as always! Great ideas. I have trays but wish these ones were out before I bought from IKEA. Oh well! I am really tempted by the coloring system. I tend to get stuck using the same colors so would definitely have to challenge myself! I love the thought that prismacolor and copics are in the companion to make it easier to use💞 I always learn so much from you, thank you for sharing and all the effort to teach us throughout the year! You rock ❤
What an amazing list! Thank you for all of your hard work in putting this together. I now have a list and am treating myself to some items for Christmas. Happy Holidays!
Thanks for all these hints and recommendations. I appreciate the work you do to pit this together. One hint I found is to be careful which pin you use in your glue bottles....I have had some rust in the glue. Merry Christmas and happy New Year.
One of the good features of the Empress Cutting machine by Anna Griffin is if you have problems with your hands the plates for this machine are very light and very easy to hold.
Thankyou times infinity!!. I just bought a sticky mat, got ink on it, freaked out 'cause I was not sure how to clean it. I learned so much, have a lot of ideas and can't wait to implement them. thank you for your thoughtfulness in choosing these products.
As ever, another very helpful video! I have two of those WRMK project carts (I make albums and projects for sale at craft fairs and always have several projects in various stages of completion) and they're life changing. A *huge* difference. Also, I most sincerely thank you for suggesting the Anna Griffin Empress. I finally took the plunge several months ago and holy cow is that thing awesome! It's just outstanding. Thank you for all you do for the papercrafting world and I wish you and your family a very peaceful and blessed Christmas.
I like the Empress but you can use hot foiling with it 😭😭😭 I wish you would try the Bira because no shims or sandwiches are necessary. It has adjustable tension.

I just discovered A6 envelopes and they were perfect for mailing the Spellbinders JOY embroidered cards (thanks for bringing them to my attention) which were quite thick and didn't fit into a regular A4 envelope. Love you and your videos. How nice that your new MIL is also a crafter.
I absolutely love your favorite things videos and appreciate all the time you put into them! I have been looking for a new paper cutter and was wondering which one you recommend. Thank you!
Jennifer you are always a good escape for me from the depression I suffer from most of the time. You make card crafting a joy for me. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!!!

I just received notification from Spellbinders that they will have a new club in 2023. It will be a stitching die club. So excited.
Outstanding video, thank you Jennifer !
Great video. I hope you do another in 2023 🎉
I love your videos Jennifer. You have a very calming way about you and you’re a wonderful teacher.

I love your kindness. It shows in everything you do. The way you support so many small businesses is just incredible. Thank you for everything you do!

Thank you so much Jennifer for featuring my Crafty Gear (or "shurk merch" as BreAnn has nicknamed it) MUCH appreciated my friend 💙

That is a great idea
Jennifer - Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It was very useful and I appreciate the tidbits of information you shared as you were talking!
If you use a pin in the glue, make sure it’s stainless steel so it doesn’t rust. A corsage pin works very well for my glue bottles.
Or a quilt pin

Good reminder…a rusted pin has happened to me before!
Mine rust lol

Cutting plates last much longer using thick vinyl as a shim.
Love the color cubes!!
The Couture Creations foul system works with the Empress. Anna even had several foiling dies with them.

Thank you so much for creating this list for us!
I just ordered the Empress on HSN! thank you so much!
Love all your suggestions!!!! Thanks so much!
Thank you for all the hardwork and information for this video!! ❤
Very helpful! Thanks
Thank you for all your great suggestions
I like the Empress but you can use hot foiling with it 😭😭😭
I wish you would try the Bira because no shims or sandwiches are necessary. It has adjustable tension.
i bought and tried it, but prefer these machines personally.
Time well spent!
I have most of these products and agree with you about most of them. My one disappointing purchase this year was the Brutus Monroe Stick & Stamp Mat. From day 1, it had no stickiness. I contacted SSS but they did not give me any kind of customer service. Maybe it was affected by the heat as it bounced around the U.S. for six weeks in the heat of summer on its way from Ohio to Winnipeg, Canada via New Mexico and various other stops along the way. I also purchased the Mat Mist that goes with the sticky mat but it is useless to me. I have since purchased the Misti sticky mats and am very pleased with them.
Thank you!
Very helpful thanks for sharing.
In order not to lose the stopper, I put a large piece of washi tape around the long piece of rubber so I find it back easily on my desk.
Nearing the end of '23. Anything new that you do in storage or...
