I love the simplicity of everything! You mentioned possibly doing something different with the mirrors in your hutch. I have a suggestion. Have you thought about putting the wallpaper tiles that you can get at Dollar Tree? I put them on my hutch back every season. They have some really pretty designs right now. I use a thin amount of poster putty to attach them because I change them often. My hutch is painted white so they really give it a pop of color.

If you decide to cover the mirrors paint the thin Luan wood to just put over them. You can also use window tint or pill and stick wall paper . The peel and stick wallpaper can go on the Luan wood as well. Would be a whole lot easier if you ever want to remove it.
