- This video provides information on - Clarifications on the requirement for completion of Advanced ICITSS (Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills) and the Advanced IT Test thereunder, with reference to eligibility to appear in CA Final examination, under CA Regulations 31(v). This clarification is issued on 22nd December, 2023.
Advanced ICITSS is a combination of Management & Communication Skills and Advanced IT Course, which is effective from 1st July, 2023 with the implementation of New Scheme of Education and Training.
ICAI has now announced the date of results for CA Final and CA Inter students i.e. 9th January, 2024. After the declaration of results of CA Inter and results of CA Final by ICAI for November-2023 attempt, this video will be more beneficial to the CA Students.

Hello Sir, can we fill the exam form before appearing for the Adv ITT exam?
Generally yes, ICAI allows to fill the provisional exam form without appearing for the test and they also specify some cut off date, mostly in Sept-Oct! Yet, for Nov-24, they have not announced such date, wait, for few days, they will announce it soon when they issue in detail exam form filing guidelines. Even exam form filing will start from 7th Aug, so it will be announced soon!

Sir im registered under ca PCC final in 2011. Now i have revalidate myself in new final course. I have completed my ITT training in PCC course. Plz guide
Mostly that training would be equivalent to current ITT, then you may need to complete Adv ITT and MCS.
However, I am little bit confused whether you need to complete them before CA Final or you will get exemption to complete them after CA Final exams as you have renew your Registration.

ICAI has mentioned that, in the old course, student may undergo trainings during the last 2 years of articleship. Nothing is mentioned about clearing of CA Inter. But, I would advise that you should contact to ICAI for better clarifications!

My query is regarding exams in May 2024 onwards. I registered for CA Final prior to July 2017 & converted before May 2022. I never skipped any attempt till now. But it seems this time I may not able to give exam in May 2024 & Nov 2024. I wanted to know whether I'll still be able to enjoy relaxation of S.I. No 3 of the table in the clarificatory announcement in May 2025.
As you have registered and appeared before July, 2017, you are eligible to get the relaxation as per this announcement. It doesn't matter whether you will appear in May 24/Nov 24 or not.

As you have registered after 1st July, 2017, for CA Final then you need to complete these trainings before appearing for CA Final exam. As you maybe aware that - in education scheme which was introduced from 1st July, 2017, also had requirement to complete these trainings before CA Final exam, so same is carried forward. This relaxation is given to students who had registered before 1st July, 2017 and appeared for exam then, as at that time these trainings needed to be completed after exam.

@@CAKrupenYHathi sir i registered in august 2017 cause before that mera ipcc second group clear nai tha toh maine register kraya 11th august 2017 post my ipcc results and had registered myself in ca final old course only as per regulation 31(ii) and uske baad i appeared in every exam of old course, so i am not understanding how just 1 month is making a difference cause i am old course student only and have cleared my 1st group also only my second group is pending jo exemption old course wale ko milte hai usme i was falling abhi tak toh mereko bhi applicable hona chahie na, clarity nai mil rhi hai sir isme please thda help kijie

I am not sure about your registration status. So, if you are still registered student, then you would be eligible to appear for CA Final exam without completing those trainings. Also, you mentioned that you have completed ITT, and if it is Advanced ITT, then you need to complete MCS only.

Yes, it is applicable to complete Adv ITT to apply for membership.
If you don't take membership number, you are not considered as member of ICAI, hence, you may not be allowed to use CA or to get benefit of the same. And in future, if you want to practice, delay in membership number may lead to delay in getting FCA.

I completed my articleship in 2014 and have cleared CA final in nov 2023 and haven't done Adv. ITT and MCS. Is it mandatory to be done for membership. What could be the consequences of delayed completion of these trainings please guide. I Had done orientation program in IPCC as well as ITT training before articleship in 2010
Yes, before applying for membership, you need to complete these trainings.
There is no such consequences of delayed completion, as you might had relaxation to complete them after exams.
Hence, you can complete them now and apply for membership.

@@CAKrupenYHathi thanks for the prompt response. I found two slots i.e. morning 8 to 2 for MCS and 2:30 to 8:30 for Adv. ITT. CAN BOTH BE done on a single day, as I am not getting leaves from office. And the total cost involved is 7+7.5 = 14,500 pls clarify.
Mostly it is allowed, however, I would advise you to confirm with branch or ICAI for better clarification.

You don't need to complete MCS as you have completed both GMCS.
But what is ctt? Or if it is ITT then you need to undergo Adv ITT as ITT may be completed by you before joining articleship. Whereas Adv ITT needs to be completed after joining articleship but before appearing for CA Final.

As per the announcement, student who has registered before July, 2017 for CA Final and appeared for exam earlier can get benefit of it. As you are registered in 2016, that condition is fulfilled.
Further, over telephonic conversation with ICAI, it is mentioned that student who has appeared for CA Final exam before July, 2017 would only be eligible. Hence, if you were not appeared for exam before July, 2017 then maybe you would not get benefit of it. However, I advise you to get clarification from the ICAI for your specific scenario.

Sir, my articleship have been completed last year(2023), but I am yet to appear the Unit-2D of Intermediate Examination in the upcoming May 2024 examination. Since my one group of Intermediate was pending during articleship, I have not undergone the Advanced ITT & MCS during articleship.
My query is that, will I be eligible for MCS-Adv. ITT after CA Final Reg. following the Intermediate Exam Passing or there would be any problem since I have not done it during Articleship?
No, there would not be any problem, don't worry about it! You can complete those trainings after registering for CA Final.

You may need to complete to Adv ITT before filing the form for CA Final exam then you need to complete it as soon as possible. But I am not sure, so please confirm this once with ICAI.
Sir my attempt is due in nov 24, not yet completed adv itt and mcs. When is the last date for it?? I have done final registration
I don't know the exact date, however, for May-24 attempt, it is allowed to complete those trainings before 10th April, 2024, so that we can expect that for Nov-24 attempt, it will be allowed to complete around before Sept, 2024. However, it is advisable to undergo those trainings as early as possible, at least by June-July, 2024.

I have cleared my ipcc second group in may 2017. I got registered in CA final under old course on 15 th august 2017. Icai allowed me to register so that i can give Nov 2017 exam under old course. New course was applicable from May 2018. I have given my exam under old course from nov 2017 to Nov 2021. This exemption is applicable on me???
As per the best of my knowledge, at that time you might have got relaxation to register for old course till 1st September, 2017 and also you might not need to complete these trainings before appearing for CA Final till now. Hence, the same benefit will be continued to you as few students have the same situation and got the same reply from ICAI that they will get benefit of this relaxation and you may complete these trainings after appearing for CA Final but before applying for membership.
So, you can get the benefit of this relaxation.

I am not very much sure about the source except old marksheets and old admit cards. However, it is quite possible that if you had got this relaxation till Nov-23 then you will get now onwards as well.

No, you wouldn't be eligible to appear for Nov-24 exams, since there is requirement that in case of students undergoing 3 years articleship as per old scheme, in last six months of articleship, student may appear for CA Final exams, however, in Nov-24, it would be last seven months.

You need to complete Adv ITT before appearing for CA Final attempt. So, within this 2.5 years period.
For Industrial training, you may commence it in 3rd year.

Actually , I completed my 3 year Articleship in the previous year (2023) only.Since I have not done the Adv. ITT & MCS trainings within the Last 2 years of my Articleship, I was a little bit tensed about that whether I will be allowed to undergo those trainings after I pass my Group 2 and register for CA Finals.

This facility is not at the option of students but it is based on ICAI rules and clarifications.
As per the announcement one shall be registered and appeared for exam before 1st July, 2017 which is complied by you. However, you have renewed to the CA Final Registration in April-2023 which might disqualify you from getting this benefit. But, you should contact ICAI for better understanding and exact clarifications.

I think you will be eligible to complete them after clearing inter only, however, it is advisable to confirm with ICAI.

Yes, one need to register immediately as there is so much rush on registration. You can keep checking on upcoming batches or you can follow social media pages of the branch where you want to register so that you can get to know about in advance. Even there is option to register for some waiting list, you can do that too.

Sir i had registered in ca final in 2015 and gave attempt up 2021 but after converted in exiting new syllabus and attempt the exam afterwards and i had also economic law exemption in may 22 but i did not complete advance it and msc shall i gave may 24 ca final attempt plz give reply because tomorrow ad itt batch start in my district and due my financial problem i will attend.. If you have attempted for CA Final from 2015 to 2021 then you may have got the benefit earlier as well then you may get this relaxation in May-2024 attempt onwards as well. So, considering the mentioned fact, you may get this relaxation.

As you have registered for articleship before 1st July, 2023, you need to undergo for 3 years' articleship, and your final attempt will due after completion of 2.5 years of articleship and before completion of articleship. And to appear for CA Final, it is compulsory to complete Adv Itt and MCS, so you need to complete before appearing for CA Final i.e. before completion of artilcehip. So, you are eligible to complete this now as you are undergoing through articleship as per old scheme.

I am not sure, but I don't think that you will get membership, it may be possible that form is submitted but then query may be raised when form will be proceeded further as it is compulsory to complete those trainings. As you have already submitted the form, then wait for ICAI reply and if possible then complete those trainings as early as possible so that it won't delay your membership too much.

Hello sir, I have registered for CA Final on 05/12/2016. I have given Nov 2018 attempt under that syllabus (syllabus before 01/07/2017) when parallel attempts under that syllabus and newly introduced syllabus (01/07/2017) were going. After that I have never given any examinations in 01/07/2017 syllabus. Now I am giving both group exams in Nov 2024. No, sorry but your interpretation is not proper. Since as per this announcement, students, who have registered for CA Final course and appeared for CA Final before 1st July, 2017, can get benefit of this relaxation that is they can complete these trainings after CA Final exams but before applying for membership.
However, I would like to know that whether you have appeared for CA Final in earlier new course which was applicable from 1st July, 2017 or not. As if you were allowed to appear for CA Final in earlier new course without completing these trainings, you may also get some relaxation.

If you are allowed in May-24 attempt that you can appear for CA Final without completing these trainings. Then you will be allowed for Nov-24 as well.
However, it is advised that you should get confirmation from the ICAI.
But as of now focus on studies for May-24, after the exams you may get confirmation from ICAI or can complete the trainings.

Yes, nothing is mentioned about the attempt, so eligible student can complete these trainings after CA Final Attempt but before applying for membership.

Exam mai baith na ..maan lijiye kisi ne form bhar k 2 paper ka hi exam de k chora ho tab...kya appear mana jayega ?
