  • Watercolors beautifully collaborate with natural marks. I used corn silk to create an abstract mesh for this painting. It is a beautiful watercolor technique for natural abstract mark-making. In the video, I described the process a little bit.

      Thank you. Corn silk is part of the corn 🌽 plant. Long shiny fibers of the corn.

      Just to be clear...when you buy whole ears of corn (still husked) there will be corn silk threads all over the ears...easy to pluck off.
