Just got mine and first rib cook as we speak. Did the salmon and potatoes from the recipe book and found 700 deg recommended was a bit much for the potatoes as they turned black but still great to eat. Ill try it again at 600 deg. Recipe book has temp issues. Also, clean up on the steel pan was a chore but magic erasers worked well without harming the finish. From now on I line the pan with tinfoil when I can. Thanks guys!
So...addition of apple juice equals not needing to wrap ribs up, place it back into oven,,,,much easier than before! Still looked juicy! This seems less fussy way to do ribs! Thanks
Did the oven produce smoke throughout the cooking process? I did this yesterday and I did not get much smoke. My pellets did not appear to be burned much when the ribs were done.
The pellets burn for 45 minutes to an hour. And that usually enough smoke for a cook. For the first few cooks, keep an eye on the pellets. If they don’t ignite, then press the wood fire button for 3 seconds and that will fire them up.
@@CookingWithCJ looking at it I agree especially since we don’t really have pizza we bought a smaller ninja at end of last summer took that long to arrive I returned it after seeing the xl pro on your channel, the pro xl is now instock will be buying soon when I get a discount code .. get well soon
Put Mrs. CJ n all your videos. You’ll have 200k subscribers in no time. I also bought 2 of these ovens recently. One for my home and one for the vacation house. Can’t wait to try them out. How was the smoke flavor from the pellets?
Good job guys! I'll be trying this next. So far everything "other" than pizza has not turned out so good for me. Smoked Burgers sucked (I cooked them to high...), Smoked Queso dip went right in the trash (I think the Pace cheese sauce ruined it). Recipe book is NOT accurate for ALOT of recipes/times and there are very few videos on this exact model. Please keep them up so I can redeem myself in my Wifes eyes ;)

How many times did you refill the pellets?
Which do you like better, the wood fire grill or the wood fire oven? Size size, which is bigger?
I’m more fond of the grill at this point. Still gotta work with the oven more to get a true opinion.
I just ordered my ninja outdoor oven and I'm definitely going to try this!
Awesome!
Nice method! Those ribs look fantastic👍😊
Thanks Bobbi! Have a great weekend!

It’s a bit easy, but I do like the wrap to add more flavors.

Would st Louis ribs have the same time? And if I don't have apple juice what else can I use?
Yeah same steps. You can use broth, any other juice or water if really comes down to it.
I’m in the Uk I’ve been waiting for the pro xl how now it’s in stock am I better with the oven that is on sale in Uk please try reply one handed
I’m more in favor of the grills over the oven.

What about st Luis ribs? How long at what temp? Bc the pamphlet says 300 for 4-6 hours. That did not work at all. It was rubber
Use my same steps, maybe a little more time to get up to temp.
