Horrible marketing and guys why is it written 16 or 24 port poe when it's half of the ports which are POE!! So you guys need to properly market your product!! I was thinking about implementing it In my work environment which has 16 buildings and huge hybrid network infrastructure but after getting to know that I will rather stick with unifi or even edge switch.
It's a 16 port switch with PoE. Many switches (included the UI switches, as you mentioned) do this. For example, the USW-24-POE is marketed as a 24 port PoE switch, but only 16 of them ports are PoE, the same as the Alta S24-POE.
@@bron2078 yes but they don't put on the package 8 port poe switch they write clearly how many ports are poe. Please check it cause we bought couple and were upset. Whomever is in the package designing should get a pink slip or something for this. also what 2.8 time cost are you talking about my guy look at Tplink switches they are cheaper! And you can do controller based or manual setup.

Only 2 x sfp+ ports. IMO my only wish is they either added 2 more SFP+ OR released a 8-10Port SFP+ switch @@deepspacecow2644
