you can download the files in the description and then open the MeshDeform.maxpat with Max Msp. You can get Max here: cycling74.com/downloads you can always open and try out max patches without a licence, you can't however save your own edits without a licence
+Michael Harren I was actually working on it yesterday! it's in beta testing now. also i'm looking for a way to distribute it. but it's almost ready :)
Sem Shimla get out of here!!! I have an idea for a piece I want to create for a show I am working on and this synth is making precisely the type of sounds I had imagined for it! is there a best way to stay connected with you?
i get this question a lot. it's not synced to the audio. the audio is synced to the visuals. The noise that's generating the displacement on the sphere is also the offset of partials in the synth. I get you want to use this to create reactive visuals and you can. but this was specifically designed the other way around
+Kama Kaczmarczyk heya kama, you can get a lot of info about noise deformation here; www.imdb.com/title/tt2861424/ i can maybe do a tutorial on how to build & map an additive synth to a deforming mesh like this but i'd need a mic first. there is just to much to explain if i want to do it right
+Sem Shimla hahaa your humour deserves an award ;) anyways, thank for your reply. I know what you mean and I totally understand it. I started working with Max just recently and I just wish I could know everything right away but obviously long way to go. Surprisingly, there's such a small amount of tutorials online it's difficult to move forward. Your work is stunning though!
+Kama Kaczmarczyk check out delicious max tutorials! i learned so much from his channel and he's been doing it for years, there are like almost a 100 great tutorials. but yea the learning process can take a while, took me about 3 years to get where i am today
Great! But now I have new computer with macOS Monterey, and video doesn't works. It says me: jit.gl.graph: "dim" is not a valid attribute argument ( May be any of You have any decisions?

Hey, I have the same, found any solutions?
Unfortunately no(
@@wimvandenborre706 I found!!! Go to MAX/MSP preferences (cmd+,) ---> jitter --->Graphics Engine, and there change from glcore to gl2
